I heard the soundfile of the roar and thought of Aphex Twin:

If anybody have the opportunity, try to run the 'roar' through a spectrograph program to see if there�s any hidden image in the sound..

Maybe the saying for slusho with the 6 was ment to be you need to stay at the site for more then 6 minutes. maybe?

Wow. That's a truly evil sound. It's creeping me the fuck out. It's 3 AM and I've been drinking all night with some friends, so this is really really REALLY creeping me out. It sounds so nasally, almost like a mix between an elephant and a whale.

But this sound is no mere clip just ripped from the trailer; this is an isolated roar...

Oh i just heard the second noise!

There is one there, but i dont personallly think it was there on the original sound in the flash, maybe a blip when converting to mp3, its like a split second of the roar and can be heard dead on 10 seconds.

Spec analysis, I take it, shows nothing hidden, but was a comparison made between this and the three roars during the trailer? In the trailer roar #2 and roar #3 are fairly similar--this is like one of those, but not exactly the same as either. This is the roar it makes when it's about to squish something. Roar #1 is more of a "waking up" or "coming out of the water" sound. So far, I'd say this is another teaser, since people were getting pretty antsy waiting for something to happen.

Any updates at slusho.jp/com?

Nah Dennis (cloverfieldclues.com) checked all of the slusho files for new coding and he got nothing.

I wonder what would happen if you put all the roars on top of each other. The new one included. I don't have any sound-editing programs, but that sounds like a reasonable idea to me.

(I got the idea from Almijisti talking about the different roars)

sort of sounds like a dinosaur, which is what you would expect from a large creature.
What I found interesting is that the characters my spaces had dinosaur references.
For example: Jamies about me section has a reference about her killing the dinosaurs, and a pic of er with a cuddly dinosaur in her picture collection.
Rob had Jurassic Park as one of his favourite films. Im gonna say that these are red herrings, as I dont thing JJ Abrams is the director for JP4, and the dinosaur thing has already been done. however, it makes you wonder if dinosaurs influence this monster at all. My betting is they have.
This was probably covered in the myspace topic thread, but I thought Id add my beliefs on th subject.
