Whales evolved from clawed, dog-like creatures... But not likely. While a whale would be kinda creepy, I don't see how that would work.

Did anyone notice that before the update, photos_8.swf was something like 15kb, and after, it has shrunk down to about 6kb? I doubt this is anything (other than removing any unnecessary code). Before you ask, I don't have the old version, but I'm sure someone does.

I have copies of the older versions of photos_8.swf, and the size hasn't changed.

The main flash file used to be photos.swf (which you can still access), but when they added photo #5, they changed it to photos_8.swf - which allows you to flip over the photos.

BTW, The older file photos.swf, was only 2 KB.

I'm fully expecting a trout on this, but in my defense i did search (if only a lil bit Embarassed )

but I had 1-18-08.com open to check out the new pics since i have been away for quite a while, but then left it open while I was reading some of the boards, and then randomly (out of my MAXED speakers, scaring the shit out of me) the site played a sound clip, with the monsters roar, and it sounded like something faint in the background perhaps...has anyone checked this out?

 		welcome back, the roar was found either 1 or 2 days ago it was taken apart like you wouldn't (or would) believe its just a roar thats it it didn't really lead anywhere

 		AfterDystopia was right on my same train of thought.
Whales did evolve from land mammals. How else would a creature that has been eluded to as being from the bottom of the ocean be able to emit an airborne roar? I don't think spitting water out would make quite this sound, so an air breathing being it must be. As for being prehistoric, the Slusho ingredient is something preserved almost as if frozen. The proto-whale would be able to walk on land and more likely have the limbs needed to grab and tear things apart.
We do have to think beyond the simple idea of a modern whale with its fins walking on land - this IS science fiction after all.

if you type in/ images at the end of the website addres you get a forbidden messagethat says you dont have permission, if you type in anything else you get not found. do you think this has anything to do with this?

 		www.website.com/images is a standard folder web designers use, depending on the type of set up they have /images might have just been in there as standard without being used. But also any images in there may not be accessible if it says your not allowed. It's something to keep an eye on at a later date but atm nothing

ok this is just a thought of the 1-18-08 site it might be that i get scarred easily but, i im in my room at 11:oopm looking at weird pics and suddenly after six minutes it roars at me i would have come out screaming like a girl the 1-18-08 site STILL scares me caause theres nothng there and whats the wors fear........ok rambling now sorry bout that

They just updated the site with the Roar. TVSquad.com, er... wait... Cinematical.com (one of the two) just confirmed that.

They just updated the site with the Roar. TVSquad.com, er... wait... Cinematical.com (one of the two) just confirmed that.

I found the roar maybe a week ago. In fact, it's farther back in this thread.
