SOLVED (almost!)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When you display the sounds in a frequency/time format you get the letters "sorodactyl" (or that's what I see.) Unfortunately, this does not seem to be a valid file or directory on Mythosphere. Here are the images, maybe someone else can get the next step.

i cant find any reference anywhere to a sorodactyl either. The closest I could come up with is
Quote:
sclerodactyly - Stiffness and tightening of the skin of the fingers, with atrophy of the soft tissues and osteoporosis of the distal phalanges of the hands and feet.

Nice y2k... I was gonna try that, but was too lazy, and thought it was too farfetched, heh
Did you extract the sounds from the swf file? If so, could you post the sound files for us to play with? Thanks

as you've all found out, the word "sorodactyl" doesn't show on google.
I tried anagramming it, and found nothing interesting except this
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SLAY DOCTOR
which would be quite a plot development....

y2k......that is so utterly cool!
It looks to me more like soradactyl....but nothing's working or coming up for that either.
On second look, nevermind, the "a" is very clearly formed.

If you stretch the spectrogram window more, you can see that the 'O' is actually a 'g', so instead of SORODACTYL, we have SORGDACTYL.
I immediately realized we had it out of order. With a bit of moving around, we obtain DACTYLSORG
Not wanting to pull a Coroner Sweborg, I tried http://www.dactyls.org
Sure 'nuff.

Way to go, danny!
I see nine images of various six-fingered hands. You can rotate the sequence by moving the mouse to the left or right. Clicking on any one of the images brings it closer, clicking again returns it to the original position.
Another beautiful job of Flash programming by the illustrious PM's
Now all we have to do is figure out what it means...

Some observations...
Nine pictures of hexadactyls (six-fingered hands)
One pic seems to show a castle icon (Avalon) in the palm of the hand...
One hand is holding a key...
One pic seems to be the glove of the six-fingered man from The Princess Bride ...
Other than this, I can only assume that each pic represents a "tumbler" in a lock that when clicked in the correct sequence sends us ot the next site.
Thoughts?

Found some sites related to each image via Google image search...
The Hexadactyl holding a key
The Numbered Hand
Sadhus, a holy man of India
The glove from The Princess Bride
Four down...five left.
Sorry can't stay. Need to fetch more info.
**Edit: The rest of the hands, save one, seem to be "home-made". One of the five remaining is actually a close-up of the holy man's extended hand. The other hand photo (back of hand, fingers pointing to the right), I just couldn't find.

You can also get the pictures to go farther away and smaller. I even got them to flip upside down when they were far away. Just kkep double clicking.

Elijah,
On the page with the Sadhu holy man, go down to the bottom of the page and then scroll to the bottom and then scroll to the right. There are two more of the hands on this page. (Total of 3 hands on this page).
Six down... 3 three left.
