Got this email from TY:

So basically he's not going to give us any sort of help besides go back and look at all the stuff to find the next password. At this point we've reached a dead-end, we don't know what the password is, we've looked and we're just not seeing it. With stagnation like this, you'd expect a little bit of a clue. I'm not sure if "Go Home and think about it" is even a clue to the current password or just the same old clue for the verification password.

grrr! Frustrations!

So Vman....are you gonna buy the book?

That might be a hint.
Here's what I received from Ty

I'm lucky to be alive as it is.

Well, I clicked back on the 'Home' page and the word million is highlighted in green. I tried it as the password but it didn't work. Thoughts?

EDIT: then I asked Chat Ty if the password was MILLION and he responded with "Ha. Open sesame.
The first one's pretty easy. Just look around. It gets a bit trickier when you get to the HEX."

Wasn't this a response to another question earlier? Arrgghh.

EDIT #2: Ooo, when you click on the 'Home' button a few times, you'll notice a little fade around the word 'ninety'. Please someone else verify it is there and I'm not going crazy. Wink

No you're not going crazy. I see it too. It
I don't see million highlighted in green.
Wow, Five hundred and twenty-six is now highlighted in green.

Edit: I opened up the page in a different browser (firefox instead of safari) and then a second window with safari. ninety defintely is highlighted, but only in this first window, that's been open for a while, is Five hundred and twenty-six highlighted.

Sorry to double post, but I have more news:

I asked Ty about NINETY and he gave the same "Ha, Open Sesame" response. Then I clicked on Home again and now lots more words are green:

Ninety
One Hundred and Twenty Six
Thousand
Million

Just got a response from Ty. I e-mailed him asking if there was any sort of hint he could give us to help us find the password for tinyurl.com/2pgkfo and this was his reply:

I can't just expose things in cleartext though--the password for
that page has been encrypted for me in a very obvious place but you may
not have access to it yet. However, I've also seen it right out in the
open, and maybe you have too in your searches.

I started clicking away from the home page and coming back, and now I see those in green as well as
one hundred
one hundred and twenty-six (both places)
Five hundred and twenty-six.

Then I refreshed my browser accidently (instead of getting a screen-shot as I intended) and it reset Sad with nothing hightlighted.

When you click on the Dennis Squalor link, and all that green binary code comes up, look left at the menu bar.

Also, when I went back to the Home page after that, more numbers are in green:

One hundred and twenty six (a second one)
One hundred

If I'm not mistaken aren't all the numbers you're seeing highlighted, the numbers we put together for the verification code?

awww, bummer.

Does the Dennis Squalor menu bar mean anything to y'all? Maybe there is something there that I don't see.

I found a tricky way of getting at least some of the chapter numbers before The Electric Church is out. In case, we can't wait. Go to amazon.com, find the electric church and click on search inside this book. It appears that you can't actually search the book, but you can click on surprise me and get a random page (up to a certain number of times before amazon locks you out from seeing new pages).
After doing this for ~25 minutes, I found the numbers for chapters 3,4,6,8,12,15,16,22 and 28. This suggests that if a few of us do it we could get all the chapter numbers.

BTW off-topic, from what little I paid attention to, the book seems interesting.

Do you mind sharing the numbers you have so far? We can decode the binary and possibly fill in the missing pieces logically.

ETA: And if Ty doesn't want us to email him, why did he put his email address on the electric church's webpage? Ty seems like a grumpy fellow....maybe we should send him some midol.

Well, this is certainly interesting. Nice job!

Also, isn't "Endless Trail of Sunsets" on the document given on the password page?
