I think what Ty means by page 11 is this threads page 11.

Dude. This is a big promotion for a book. He probably wouldn't be looking here because:

1.) We gave him no way to link back here...

and

2.) Who's to day we're the only ones playing?

Plus is would be a horrible violation of TINAG to refer back to an OOG forum...

I have to agree with ShiningFist. If you read the whole quote it definitely sounds like he's talking about the chapter in the book.

We have to figure out this password! I am going to go nuts. I am no good at code so if there is anything else i can do to help figure it out, let me know, point me in the direction. Smile

Lets just say we are correct in assuming that 'page 11' does actually refer to page 11 of the book they should know that a lot of us can't get this info at the present moment in time so that means that until the book comes out we are kind of at a standstill. I have a feeling we're all reading too deep into it and it's right under our noses. And if what has been told to us, how do we know for sure that it's not to throw us off the scent for now

I just had a thought, you know that list of files in hex, what if it's refering to the 11th item the audio recording?

As far as the binary on the login page is concerned yes tkeith is correct.

Give it a try, but I really doubt it. This came from a bookscrossing journal for copies of the Electric Church that have been "set free" for people to read and trade. To quote:
Quote:
I 'm putting these books out in the wild before the monks get them. If you've found one, there are some people looking for the the password on page 11.

I did message the one person who has admitted to finding one of the books, but no reply yet.

Sorry to ask for clarification, but isn't the binary on the login page the user name it asks for when you click on 'Go here' on that page? And we enter tkieth as the User Name? (I'm just trying to not get confused here) Embarassed

That's ok and yes that is (we assume) the user name we would use.

Cool, thanks. Smile

Brainstorming section:

I'm trying to decipher some sort of clue to the password from this page http://the-electric-church.com/eternalsalvation/

"the title of each is very important" - we currently assume this is talking about the chapter titles. could it mean anything else?

"This is your login converted to binary numbers:

011101000110101101101001011001010111010001101000

Binary is important. The world is binary. In the beginning. Right, wrong. Light, dark. Good, evil. Mortal, immortal.

Books are binary. Open, closed. Black, white. Even Chapters can be made binary.

The monks know that. But a password is no good unless you know where to use it.

Go here."

I've been thinking about opposites, trying to see where that might tie in. But I can't come up with anything new. Opposite of tkieth? Hrmph. It is all leading back to the chapters being a factor in the password. And the same dead end we've been at for awhile now. ARG Bang Head
