 		I looked into this .root thing, and an easier definition is that it is a simple reference to the main slide in flash player, which makes me believe that the answer is somewhere in the "first" flash video, which would be, of course, that video at the beginning.

If we're to discover this before any major hints, I suggest someone with flash experience check that video out! Smile

Like, how do you view the javascript code that lets you view it and such? I'm clueless on that front.

The comments were in a copy I downloaded on August 20th. I think you have to turn on comments, or view headers in Word to see them. (In NeoOffice, I had no problem seeing them).

 		hmmm.
I looked over the comments (i had never seen them before). i believe it is a clue, but a clue that we are past already. it seems that that was our first clue, telling us to talk to ty for more information. however lola (where is she now anyway? vman?) broke the access code before anyone even saw the press release so it was old hat by then.

that said. gimme a second and i will transcribe them just in case.

edit: ya know what, screw that. i cant copypasta and im at work so i dont have time to type it all out. d/l the press release, open in work, view --> show headers and footers.

Here's the notes on the EC press release. Strangely, my download shows the notes as having a date of 09/17/07

Note that schematics for this device are actually publicly available. Since all converts are legally volunteers, there is nothing illegal about it.

Legal teams normally don't carry weapons. Wouldn't be surprised if this guy ends up converting very soon.

i hate to say it dragonsnake, but i think your wrong. a stream cipher is just a method of encryption, so we would need some raw data. now there could be data hidden somewhere IN the picture...but you cant exactly decrypt a picture.
