still no clue How does two magnets tried, I still can't open it.
I also dropped mine and it is now only moves between 3 and 4mm open.
Can't close it fully, or open it more than 4mm.
Using magnets I can hear lots of clicking going on, but still can't get the dam thing to open.

I am very stuck on this as well.
I have two magnets but no joy.
I have sussed that there is some sort of level switch in there.
I can see inside the end that has the magnets in and can see 3 sort of poles or ball bearings. The outer two move ( This is the level switch I believe), however the middle one won't budge what ever I do.
I can see all the way through to the other side and those 3 things are the only things preventing it from opening.
Is this what should be happening?
Previous post said to make sure it was level and use a compass and twist.
Twist along which axis?
Any pointers?

suzy, i'm in exactly the same position as you! i've tried all the hints that i can find on the net and i dont know if its just me thats doing them wrong or not but they dont seem to work! ive tried thinking a lot about it, doing just simple things, shaking in different positions, doing it upside down, allsorts! ive definitely had fun though! he he! i too have had a look inside and seen the three magnets. can make the two outer ones move but only with magnets. i really dont know what else to do! i seem to have resorted to starting back at the begining and trying everything over again...... even though i know it didnt work the first 567 times i did it im still trying!!!??? sooooooo confused!!?? please help!

Re: mammers02 Still no luck! Do you think magnets will damage the disk inside? Anyone tried magnets and once it has opened the disk still runs? On another site someone opened it and had used magnets on it. They said their disk won't run. Think there is a link??

Oh well guys, maybe one of us will have a Eureka moment one of these days. I think I saw somewhere that if your disk doesn't work you can send away for another one.
I'll give it another month or so and then take it round to my local mechanic!
