el neil i think paris is a good guess... for some reason i think the pic is the lovre.... I dated a girl along time ago that loved france...i think she showed me that pic... I know i saw it before...and why does TDC have a pic of russ on his wall..... also the CM is getting talkative to me

No, you're not right. Bring in a forensic examiner if you want. If it was Eric then I wouldn't be looking for him, now would I? If you can find out who it is, I'd love to know. If you solve any of his codes, tell me. If you don't believe me, just look at his hair - he has straight hair, Eric's hair is curly, and it's pretty long right now. He also doesn't even have the same body type as Eric - he's fatter. Oh, and also, he's not locked in a room, so that kinda gives it away....I've been going over this video more times than you. If you can tell me something I don't know about TDC, then I'll be interested.

CM
...lol he sounds desperate

I could be wrong but it doesn't look like the Louvre to me. I've been there, its HUGE. This looks like a hotel, but it's hard to tell from the small picture.

Wabo: Where are you seeing a pic of Russ? At the end? It looks like a guy in a white shirt to me.

Man, I don't even have a clue where to begin this scavenger hunt. I mean, I know we've got the King of Diamonds from Flickr and the Eight of Clubs from the new video, but "five cards hidden online" is a pretty broad area of hunting.

Anyone think that, if that picture is of something in France, it's a connection to the Sam Deercot blog (http://samdeercot.blogspot.com)?

Heh, I went to the page again youthpastor and I don't think I ever noticed that at the top where it says LIVE EURoPe the capital letters translate to Pure Evil. I don't think that the clues will be hidden on the Sam Deercot pages because it seems to me that Tom is taking an awful lot or measures to distance himself from the CM.

I agree with the broadness of the challenge. I just can't stop thinking that possibly the cricket in his pocket is a huge clue.

EDIT: There is a short zoom in on his wristwatch when he puts it on. I can't read the time on it but maybe it is significant.

I agree, I don't think the cards will be on CM's blog, but maybe the clues will lead us to knowledge about CM/Eric that pertains to France.

And I agree that the cricket must be important. If it turns on any light bulbs, whenever I googled about cricket and playing cards, I ended up with a card game based on the ballgame "cricket." I haven't researched enough to see if the King and Eight have any significance to it, though.

EDIT: Yeah, I noticed that, too. I'm going to try to download it from vixy to see if I can get a better look.

I'll see if I can dig up anything that reflects this theory. The pocket reference could be referring to a pair. Such as Pocket Aces. I wonder if the cricket card game that youthpastor mentioned has any significance to 3 8's. That being said. I wonder if we have to tell him the exact suits of the cards?

Quick idea.

I may be stretching, but Tom said that "the code that sent you here, it wears a suit, too, depending on the job it's doing." Perhaps we should be looking for a wild card. Like a Joker or if there's a wild card in that cricket game I found.

My only deal is this: how the heck are we going to even know if we get the right cards? Even if we find the cards, how can we know these specific cards are the ones we're looking for? They can't be much different from other random cards uploaded.

EDIT: Adding to the wild card theory, in poker, the technical term for the Joker is the "bug" (perhaps, hence the cricket?). The bug is played as an Ace unless it can be used to finish a straight or a flush.

That sentence has been bugging me too. The code that sent us there, is "TUBETOMCESEARYOUTHIRTEEND" or one of it's rotted versions. Llama suggested that maybe we need to add a word on it, like diamonds or something.

I think if we figure out what he means by this it will help us a lot.

Interesting but highly doubtful. I ran Tom D Cesear through an anagram solver and got ACE MOST RED. Which if we were supposed to stumble upon that it would probably imply Ace of Diamonds and Ace of Hearts. Another thing I noticed. If you tak KD from King of Diamonds and EC from Eight of Clubs it can be arranged to spell DECK. I think I may be thinking too far out of the box though.

If it adds anything, I noticed that the King in that cricket card game is worth 13 points.

Hmm I don't think it is, the architecture looks different. I think the only way we will know for sure is if we find that exact picture somewhere out there on the internets. Laughing
