James, do you or anyone else have a suggestion? I am still at Kalamazoo, and it won't allow me to reapply. My Elizabeth Logo is at the Kalamazoo page, so I have no chance of getting any votes. This is getting really disgusting and discouraging.

Beyond contacting HR (hrSPLATdundermifflininfinity.com), I've got no ideas. Sad

Just sent an e-mail. Will see what happens. If I don't get back to Elizabeth, I am quitting.

EDITED: Just saw a new notice up:

employees to be hired by multiple branches.

The quick solution to this problem is to re-apply to your desired branch if you're unhappy with your current one. HOWEVER: We are asking you to please wait for our announcement tomorrow before doing so. We are working on a permanent fix that will remove all outstanding pending applications for all employees already accepted into a branch. Once this is done, the DMI system will handle these re-applications much more effectively.

The good news is, we are rapidly increasing our technical staff at DMI Corporate to handle this huge influx of new employees and soon you'll forget all about the problems that seem to pop up on a near hourly basis.

Thanks for your patience and loyalty to our program,
The Dunder Mifflin Infinity Team

CREED TASK NOW CLOSED: Voting for Week 2's task will begin on Wednesday.

... and just reapplied to Elizabeth myself... let's hope it sticks this time.

re-apply

Well, we just got the OK to re-apply and it would not allow me to do so. So my last ditch effort is that I wrote to the hr department and it really needs to get fixed fast. This is ridiculous.

"Dear HR,
I need to get back to my branch, Elizabeth, NJ as I am in Kalamazoo, MI and do not want to be there. I followed your instructions and did not re-apply until you gave us the OK to do so.

I tried to re-apply to Elizabeth and it won't let me. I get a message "The employee has already applied for this branch and branch code." My regional branch manager has checked, and my name is not on his list for acceptance (Palm) so there is nothing he can do to help me get in the group.

Can you please solve this problem for me? I have spent time on my logo and creed and they are in the wrong branch for voting.

Thank you,

Palm"

Palm,

Try applying without using the code. I did that and I got the email that my application has been received.

Thank you! that seemed to do the trick. Now all I need is James to re-accept my application for the last time.

Ok, I tried that too... jamesi, I should be listed as a new applicant, just without a branch code, if that makes a difference. Confused

Saw both Palm and thebruce, among others, in the pending employee list, and have added them (all).

Back again. Except when I try to go vote on a logo. They're all for NAMPA. Jeesh.

[EMAIL] from HR @ DMI

Quote:
Dear DMI Employee,

We have received your email and appreciate you alerting us to this issue. As you may or may not know we have been purging our employee database of the multiple hirings that were going on. This resulted in many of you ending up in your last hired branch, which may not have been your preferred branch.

If you, or another employee you know, needs to get back into your original branch, we need you to re-confirm (i.e. "re-apply") this branch choice. This is the quickest way to get you back. Many of you reported that the system gave you an error last time you tried to re-apply. We are sorry about this; it should not have happened. We are humbly asking you to try this again, and this email is being sent personally to you so we can monitor your case in an effort to improve our program.

Please click on "Re-Apply" from your Employee Profile or click here:
http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/employees/register

Do send us an update once this has done. Thank you for your support and patience as we get DMI off its feet. We look forward to assigning you a fun - and altogether different - task later this week.

Sincerely,

Human Resources
Dunder Mifflin Infinity

So I'm back home in Elizabeth. But the logo voting is messed up. I got the same possible logos (mostly Namba) when I was in Kalamazoo as I get in Elizabeth. I can access page 1 and page 3 (and the submissions are all in alphabetical order) but not page 2 (where mine would be located). I've emailed TPTB about this bug.

... and I'm still at Kalamazoo, even though I reapplied to Elizabeth and received an email stating my application had been received.

Jon, did you see/approve my application?

As I see pending applications, I approve them. I log in once or twice an evening, sometimes more, but rarely through the day.

Just mass-approved 23 apps, but I didn't see yours in there, Cel.Sad

Woot! Logo voting appears fixed. I'm now seeing Elizabeth logos (mixed in with a few from other places).

My contribution is on page 2.

Please vote!
