Ok, I'm back. I earned my EZ 100 sBucks today. I'll try to complete the tasks by this weekend.

Have I mentioned lately that I am soooo happy to hear that? I noticed you came by and earned your weekly Affinity. [insert hug icon] Don't forget we have some great conversations and games happening in the forum threads.

Aliendial has been very consistent every week (Lots of hugs!!!). Cool
Celina63/redbanshee takes long vacations *cough* Wink but we are patient with her.
tygr20 is pretty consistent also *nudge* - thank you!
Gregory was purged due to inactivity, but he can reapply to Elizabeth when he is ready to come back.

Our party submission, while lauded by other DMI employees, did not impress Corporate enough to make Top 16. Back to the drawing board. We just don't have the talent pool for graphic design. Or maybe our writing sucks. But this means our $bs/employee average will take a hit compared to the branches that made the top list (they all get an extra $100 per person). So everyone's weekly Affinity is very important.

Next task assignment will probably be up this week. Hopefully a game. If there is a game or a quiz, wait a few days and then check the branch forum for hints, clues, etc if you want to maximize your score.

I did the "decorate a living room" task. I was in a hurry. Here's my submission:

Hey, just a note, I'm a graphic designer/Illustrator so if you ever need a hand let me know and I'll see if I can help...

I'm not actively participating in Dunder Mifflin Infinity but I would happily help out if needed.

Do you like "The Office" (or just watch it occaisonally)? Then join up! Hang out with us. Show off your skillz!

Hey Natas - the good thing about doing the tasks AFTER the deadline? You don't have to stress over the quality.

Absolutely I do. I've fallen off a bit this season, but I've seen every previous season. So let's do this, point me in a direction...

Also, do you ever think there's going to be a day where humans and robots can peacefully coexist?

Welcome back to THE OFFICE
- Branch Broadcast Message for 1-15-09

Quote:
It's a new episode tonight! But the President is giving his farewell speech tonight (which will be on NBC) and this could cause the evening broadcast to be adjusted on the East coast. NBC.com site still lists THE OFFICE for 9 PM, but you may want to add extra time to your DVR, just in case.

Most of you received $100 SB's for our HOLIDAY PARTY task (2.11) entry. I double checked and if you were active but didn't get your share, I contacted HR and they fixed this yesterday (yay for spreadsheets, there's a reason I keep track for us).

It is time to start thinking about Task 2.12, which will start after the West coast airing of THE OFFICE this Thursday. We have no idea what it will be, but there are a couple of hints around the DMI main page and on the www.NBC.com/TheOffice page:

Get ready to DUEL!

The first task of 2009 will begin with the first episode of the New Year, entitled "The Duel." The task will be an exciting arcade-style game that you won't want to miss! Be sure to come back next Thursday and be the first to play...

THE DUEL | 01.15.09 | 9/8c | TV-PG L

A FIGHT TO THE FINISH - The office is on eggshells because Andy (Ed Helms) still hasn't found out about fiancee Angela's (Angela Kinsey) affair with Dwight (Rainn Wilson). When Michael spills the beans, Dwight and Andy take matters into their own hands. Meanwhile, Michael is nervous about being called down to corporate for a meeting with Wallace (Andy Buckley).

The best way to maximize your Task $bs is to wait a few days and visit the forums. This gives us a chance to get past any bugs and gather strategy tips from others.

Speaking of the forums, lots of new discussions: nenaracer is getting married, Findash87 started a "Find me a…" thread, and Smokey is casting for her new pirate movie (which was started in our Branch Recruitment thread but has now found it's way into our branch forum).

See you at "work"

Since this is my most favourite show of all time (beat even the X-Files!) I am jumping on board with this one!

Just joined the Modesto, CA branch. Closest I could get to Sacramento. Come by and say hello!

Did you use your same username? I'll find you.
If you get bored in Modesto, you are always invited to telecommute with me over to Elizabeth, NJ.

I found you first. Wink I already friend requested you.

You should add me on twitter though: NickoDM

Anyways, I'll hang with the Modesto crew for a while to see how it is but if I move I'll definitely head over your way.

Jam Packed Week at DMI!!!!

Quote:
Was that an exciting Sunday or what? A great football game and an even better episode of "The Office" (at least that is what folks are telling me – over here in Iraq we are way behind on season 5 so I have to rely on TVGuide.com for the synopsis).

Lots of $bs available this week. Thanks to the dedication of our employees, all "active" employees got $200 tonight from Task 2.13. If you follow the instructions for Task 2.14 (10 posts in the forums, 10 comments on employee profiles, make 3 new 'friends', upload any video, and any 5 pictures) you can get another $150. DEADLINE: Thursday Feb 4th @ 9a PT/12n ET.

The special bonus Superbowl Task 2.15 is for a rare and very limited edition desk item. Roast Michael Scott! Write your best zinger for the Defibrillator or put it on video for the EFR Dummy and submit for Regional Manager review (ie. It has to be on topic and not just 'any old sentence/video'). DEADLINE: Monday Feb 9th @ 9a PT/12n ET.

Please visit the forums and congratulate crochunter251 as our Employee of the Week, along with the amazing WesIsScrantastic as our Employee of the Month. How can you get one of these nifty wall plaques for your desk? Visit with us in the forums, post comments, welcome new employees, contribute to the $bs total, and be tolerant of pets (remember, we're Super Silly and Super Sexy in a geeky way here in DMI Elizabeth).

Our new desk items from Task 2.10 are now available. Also, Valentine's Day is coming up; we may have some special limited edition desk items available. With the recent profile/desk upgrade the new Corporate gifting policy is in effect. You must be at least a Supplier Relations Specialist ($3400 earnings) or above to be able to gift to another employee.

See you online!

Its a Giant Slumber Party in DMI

This week's task is to host a "Branch Mixer" (DMI employee Meet 'n Greet). We've moved our branch Pajama Party into the main forums and we're busy inviting friends to stop by for pillow fights and movies. For our branch to get maximum $chrutebucks per active employee, we need lots of people to click on this link: http://tiny.cc/PJ-Party . It brings them directly into our party thread and gets counted by DMI as an Elizabeth visit to the site. The more unique clicks through, the greater our $bs prize.

Please do not SPAM our link. Send it to your friends; post it on your social network site. But please be honest to the purpose of our solicitation of clicks. We are making banners and flyers for the party in our branch thread.

Voting has started on "Create a Task". We have some very imaginative folks and it's going to be difficult to pick a favorite. Remember to click on the picture to read the descriptions before voting – we want to show Corporate the very best from Elizabeth. You can check out the discussion in the forum where all the entries are listed.

Congratulations to chefruns for being selected Employee of the Week. She's provided us with some great task contributions lately and if you could see her in person, I'd bet she is always smiling at her desk. Unless she is chasing her pets around the office. Meanwhile, last week's EOTW, BerserkerJen has her Calendar Task entry in the final voting (hint, don't be logged in when you visit this link).

There's a big purge coming up. If you haven't been to work in 5 weeks, you're about to be transferred to the Purgatory branch. All your stuff will remain on your desk (as will your DMI 2.0 earnings) but you'll have to log back in and request a transfer to get back into a regular branch.

Have a great weekend!

- kona

I am about to be kicked out of my branch because I haven't been logging in as much. The damn application is just too slow from work. Wink

Anyways, if I rejoin I'll hit you up konamouse for a branch add.

Certainly.

Just another request for uF folks to click on our party link:
http://tiny.cc/PJ-Party

Click as much as you can, we need all the help we can get.
