http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/tasks2/globalvote?week=59&from=24&cp=2

Clicking on that link will bring you to the Global voting page for the Design Your Own Task vote. Look for the "Branch Dundies Award" entry and please click on VOTE. Currently it's on the top row, second from left.

Thanks!

Quote:
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Branch Mixer and shared the party link with all their friends/family for maximum coverage. Our $bs reward for all the clicks will soon be distributed by Human Resources.

This week's task is a limited opportunity to earn a 50% discount on desk items. It starts with "The Office" trivia followed by a search through all the other branches to click on Golden Tickets. You earn 5 clicks for every trivia question you get correct (hint: If you don't know the answer, google is your best friend). Maximum clicks = 50. Then you search the branch pages and click on the ticket you find. Some of them are duds. Find 10 good tickets to reap your reward.

Shannonanna's idea for Create-a-Task, "Branch Dundies" is in the finals on the Corporate voting page. We cannot vote for our own branch entry, but you can send this link: http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/tasks2/globalvote?week=59&from=24&cp=2 to all your friends and family and ask them for their vote (they don't have to be logged in to click on the Vote button). In the meantime, we're already hosting our own Elizabeth Dundies and I'm waiting for your votes. Click on this page for the categories and then email your selections to: konamouse at yahoo.com! Deadline extended to Friday night March 20th.

This week we congratulate CindyGale as our Employee of the Week. Please drop by the forum or her profile and leave her a comment when you get a chance.

Forums are down since 8p Friday night. The profile pages work and you can still read the threads as a guest. Guess what? The results from the mixer (Task 2.20) have been posted.

"SchruteBucks are awarded based on highest number of unique visits per employee."

Elizabeth rocks! We got third place! That means $225 sb in each of our pockets (hopefully by Monday).

1st column = Branch name
2nd column = Unique visits/employee
3rd column = Sb awarded/employee

Ypsilanti 9.9 300
Allentown 6.77 275
Hilo 4.01 250
Elizabeth 3.91 225
Dundalk 3.9 200
Erie 3.7 175
Lake Charles 3.32 175

Thanks to bugdaddy & Hugo's unorthodox thinking we garnered lots of outside clicks on our mixer link last week (they posted our party link on eBay)! For his thinking outside the box in massive support to maximize our branch $chrutebuck potential, this week we recognize bugdaddy as our EOTW!

I'll update you and give you more information about this week's task as soon as the forums are back up & running!

Week 31 DMI 2.0 Update

Quote:
This week's task (2.24) is your opportunity to add to The Office Addictionary.

Pick a definition and invent a word

Being blackmailed by a co-worker. (verb)
Sneaking back into a workplace after being fired. (verb)
When a printer in the workplace is broken and not replaced. (adjective)
Generic name for a designated snack day (e.g. Pretzel Day, Donut Fridays). (noun)
A co-worker who constantly updates their social networking site while at work. (noun)

It's an easy $50 sb. If you want to be in competition for the branch voting, the deadline is Thursday, April 9th at 9am Pacific/12noon Eastern.

We're all waiting for Human Resources to post their Top 16 from Task 2.22 (25 Random Facts). Keep your fingers crossed that the awesome rhyming skills of Elizabeth get showcased for the Corporate voting.

Speaking of awesome, please join me in congratulating BerzerkerJen as our Employee of the Month. She's a wonderful graphic artist has really started to shine here at work this year. Looking forward to more surprises from her. This week we also recognize aliendial as EOTW for her staunch loyalty. She is another of our silent but determined employees that I've been rewarding lately; every week she comes to work, earns the maximum $100 Affinity and does every task. What a trooper!

Come into the forum and meet some of our newest employees. Buzrael is commuting all the way from Belgium. DwightVersusAndy moved here from Medford. Emilmi just found us. Pertyboy2 & Eric_Silver came back to us from Purgatory last month. ToryBaybee and juliawesome stopped by the forum once – hope you guys come back soon.

It's not too late to participate in "Process Improvement". Folks who go back and complete missing tasks, maximize their Affinity, and thus significantly improve their total earned $bs %age are eligible to win a real world prize (direct from Iraq)! Deadline extended until Friday April 10th!

Have a great week. We have a new episodes of "The Office" coming!

konamouse, your Regional Manager (still in Iraq).

DMI Update Week 32 & Task 2.25

Did you like getting two episodes this week?
Have you checked out http://www.michaelscottpapercompany.com yet?

Heads up on this week's Task. It's a flash game. You can practice as much as you want. And there is no deadline to do this (except for the end of the DMI 2.0 season of course).

There are some hints and tips in the forums. The best hint is the F5 (refresh trick). If you are playing for the $bs and you mess up before the last shot, you F5 refresh and can start your game over again.

This one is worth $400 for a perfect game.

Back to old news. We didn't win the 25 Random Facts (Hilo won). Maybe we got one of the runner's up prizes - but nothing has been paid yet.

And we are currently voting on our branch favorite office dictionary entry. There are 40 to review (I listed all of them in the forum) over three pages. Please look at all before making your vote for the best one to send on to the Corporate voting.

Battle of the Bobbleheads

Quote:
Did you see that extra $150 sb bonus this week? Thanks to the hard work done in the forums last month our limerick-filled "25 Random Facts" placed in the top 5 and we all got a sweet payout!

If you haven't been around lately, there's lots of cash up for grabs. Task 2.25 "Dream Team Soccer" is worth up to $400 sb. Our branch thread has some great tips/hints to score a goal and hit Phyllis every time. So come on in to read the [task] thread before trying it on your own (hint: if you really mess up, hit F5 refresh before that last shot in order to start over). There's ANOTHER $400 that's even easier to earn this week with Task 2.26 "Heavy Competition". Again, check the [task] thread for all the details before you play for $bs on your own (if you lose a round, you are out completely, but if you make it to Round 3, tie nets you the full pay out).

Have you ever wondered how someone earns Employee of the Week? Criteria used are
active consistent earning Affinity $bs
superior task accomplishment
major contributions to the branch or the forum threads
involvement in branch submissions or forum discussions
significant catchup on old tasks.

So even some of you folks who never seem to open the branch door are still considered for EOTW. Look sharp: Nominations for Employee of the Month will be starting soon.

Speaking of the branch forums. We have some great word games going on, friendly discussions, and well trained pets hanging around our desks. Stop by and say 'hello' next time you log-in. And toss a comment or two for some of our new folks (see the list on the DMI Elizabeth Stats page each week).

Have a great The Office week. Stay safe.

konamouse, your Regional Manager (still in Iraq)

Merge is the Word on the Street This Week

Quote:
We can be as successful and Michael Scott!

The new task this week is your opportunity to really jump up into the stratosphere.

Get into the negotiations and [red]MERGE MERGE MERGE [/red](if you betray, your name goes on the naughty list and you get shunned). There is no limit to how many times you can do this task, and every MERGE is $5 sb. If there is another DMI outage, meet us in facebook (look for the Super Silly/Super Sexy (in a Geeky Way) page. LaurenAct has the address.

Meanwhile, did you get a chance to congratulate Office_Witch for earning Employee of the Week? Have you submitted your nominations for Employee of the Month? Do you like scary things? What was the last movie you saw? Can you change a letter to change the word? These are some of the threads in our forum right now.

Elizabeth is currently #10 in average $chrutebucks/person. This week is our chance to move up (or get bumped down) so it's vital as many of us get into those negotiations and really move our Task earnings (and our Affinity) as high as we can.

Lastly, make a copy of the Corporate voting page link for There Outa Be A Word. The Elizabeth entry "copyblocked" is in the middle of page 1 and we need every vote we can get. You cannot vote if you are logged in so send the link to all your friends' computers.

http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/tasks2/globalvote?week=64

See you in the Negotiation Room. kona (still in Iraq)

Every Day is Casual Day in Elizabeth

Quote:
Although we do request we keep wardrobe malfunctions to a minimum.

This week's tasks is like playing with cut out dolls. You can use just the tools given by Corporate, or you can use your own photoshopping skills and upload your product into the Task. Just make sure you do not use any copyright photos or any images other than Jim or Pam. Read the rules carefully. Check the forum thread for hints, tips and ideas.

When you come into 'work' this week, please stop by the desk of Findash87 and congratulate her as our current Employee of the Week. And when you see Ashley_Joy, you can toss some celebratory candy corn (or kitty litter) in her cubicle - she was voted Employee of the Month.

We're still up on cloud nine after Elizabeth's entry in "There Oughta Be A Word" won the Corporate vote last week. "Copyblocked" is currently featured on the DunderMifflinInfinity.com home page!

Things are winding down in The Office and DMI 2.0 will soon be counting up all the $chrutebucks. Have you earned your potential? Maybe you missed a Task? There might still be some $bs out there available to maximize your placement (and decorate your desk). Previously if you didn't spend it, you lost it. So you might want to thinking about spending it sooner rather than later. If you buy it, you get to keep it (or sell it back later).

See you at The Office.

- konamouse (still in Iraq)

End of Season Picnic Games

Quote:
Wow! I haven't seen the season finale yet (have to wait a few more weeks before I can get it here in Iraq), but I've heard it was great.

Things here in DMI Elizabeth are also going well. We're holding on to 9th or 10th place in average $bs/employee. If we can stay up in the Top 10 we all should get special desk Dundies (if Corporate repeats its previous rewards). Weekly Affinity is still very important. Every $b counts in our march to the finish. If you missed any previous tasks, now is the time to fill in the blanks. I tried to keep track so if you are not sure, email me and I'll let you know what you can still do for $bs.

Meanwhile, check out the branch forum. SmokeyThePirateKitty premiered our Swashbuckling Movie Poster and we celebrated by naming him Employee of the Week. Now we're planning our end of year Pirate Themed Party.

Last chance to max out your $bs earnings and fill up your desk. This week we have TWO tasks http://www.dundermifflininfinity.com/tasks2/ (highest reported so far is ~$600). These can be fun games but might frustrate some folks (if you have a wonky internet connection or don't have a laser mouse). We have been collecting hints & tips in the [task] thread but it's always a good idea to practice. If you get in a bind and looks like you are going to do poorly, hit the refresh (F5) and start over.

Voting has started for our best Casual Friday and Café Disco contributions. It's important to get the best possible entry up into the Corporate level. Please take a few minutes to view our entries and vote.

Just because the Scranton documentary is in reruns doesn't mean we're taking off for the summer. Some of our best conversations occurred last summer – there are lots of DMI folks planning live meets all over the states – check out the main forums for more information. I'll see you in there.

DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING
Thursday 3p Pacific/6p Eastern to make those $chrutebucks count

Quote:
If you haven't been by the branch office lately, today is the day to finish up all those back tasks you've been saving. 2.30 and 2.31 are games that have lots of potential for a nice promotion (our branch forum has plenty of hints/tips).

Want to really help get Elizabeth on the map? Make sure you get your $100 Affinity today and then come back Thursday MORNING and try to earn some before the deadline (we think that is at 3p Pacific/6p Eastern).

Congratulations to LaurenAct315 - both her Cafe Disco and Casual Friday submissions are in the Corporate voting. That means she will finish out DMI 2.0 as our highest earning employee (and possible Top 10 DMI Corporate finish - let's keep our fingers crossed for her).

Just a reminder: Summer is around the corner and DMI has plans for games and activities based on our submissions from Create A Task. With REAL WORLD PRIZES! Stop by for a visit every once-in-awhile. We'll be here.

konamouse in Iraq at http://hollyinbalad.blogspot.com
P.S. Thank you for all your well wishes and warm thoughts for our men & women serving in our armed forces both past & present. konashark & I really appreciated hearing from you.

Yup, DMI 3.0 is getting started this weekend. Site is still a little buggy with all the profile updates (forums still work).

Everyone restarts as a temp (including me right now). Get $1000sb for the restart, but have to have at least $2000 earned before eligible to apply for a branch (no branches have been reopened yet).

Eventually there will be more things within the branches like a 'break room' and private branch chat.

Meanwhile, the first task is about Office Gossip - create our own long story, one sentence at a time.

DMI Elizabeth will be back this season. While we're waiting for the branch forum to reopen, we're hanging out in the Employee Meet 'n Greet forum where we have a thread, and in the Branch Recruitment forum.

Quote:
FROM: Human Resources, Dunder Mifflin Infinity

TO: All Dunder Mifflin Infinity Employees

SUBJECT: DMI 3.0 Launches, Revised Employee Manual, This Week's Task, Performance Review Results, Summer Splash Winners and More!

DUNDER MIFFLIN INFINITY 3.0 NOW OPEN

Welcome to DMI 3.0! Come check our brand new design, new features, and tonight's first task! Everyone's SchruteBuck totals have now been reset in order to preserve fairness in DMI 3.0. If you are a returning employee, you will receive a bonus of Sb $1000 Earned with which to start. New employees will receive a $1000 Available to Spend Bonus (for your virtual desk) in addition to the $1000 Earned. Only the Earned amount counts towards the new Employee Stats. All employees have be removed from their branches and, unlike in years past, will have to earn a branch position in the first few weeks of the game. Have questions or want to learn more about how DMI works and what changes we've brought to the game this year? Read our revised Employee Manual.

TASK 3.01: GOSSIP

Our first task of DMI 3.0 is a good old-fashion gossip task. Every Scranton employee was the subject of Michael's gossip. How far can you take each gossip story? Find out now.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW RESULTS

For all Regional Managers from DMI 2.0, over half of you will be retained in DMI 3.0, thanks to your stellar Performance Reviews. For branches whose managers are not retained, a vote will occur in the first week that the branches re-open to decide on the new managers. All employees interested in a Regional Manager position will be able to fill out an application at that time. We realize that RMs are anxiously awaiting their results so they can get organized for DMI 3.0, however we want to emphasize that these first few weeks without branches have been set aside specifically so everyone can get re-acquainted with the new site and focus on having fun. Real team-building tasks will of course start up once we have solidified our new employee base, i.e. employees with a proven track record over the first few tasks of 3.0, who we know will be an asset to whatever branch they choose to join.

SUMMER SPLASH WINNERS

Congratulations to DMIMickeyMouse who is our Summer Splash 2.0 Winner! He wins a Limited Edition Schrute Farms Beets Watch courtesy of the NBC Store. Runners-up creedlicious and shakymon will receive a Kevin and Toby bobblehead, respectively. All employees who completed all Summer Splash tasks will receive shortly a Limited Edition Desk Item, not available for purchase in the virtual desk store.

Have a DMI day and look forward to seeing you all on the site and in the forums!

Sincerely,
Human Resources Dept.
Dunder Mifflin Infinity

The branches are now open for applications. If you have earned your requisit $bs (minimum is $2K to apply) then click on the Apply to Branch link in your profile and come on in to Elizabeth.

It's easy to get to your goal: You get $1K just for signing in for the season. Each week is $100 sb for Affinity (earned by posting comments on profiles and posts in the forums). We've had 4 tasks so far this season. First one = easy $40. Second one was worth $400 but it expired after one week Sad . Third task is matching the pie chart to the character personality, up to $170 if you get 17/17 scored. Current task is your personal requests for party etiquette - you pick the type of party and then 3 sentences for each Do and Don't.

Hey kona,

Do you know if they keep old accounts still? I was on another branch and was eventually booted for inactivity.
