regarding the photographer's brand on the photo....it's clearly a "self portrait" where you hold the camera out to take a pic of you and your chosen...one of my specialties. so not likely a professionals' photo

Yes, this is my first post, although I have been lurking on this forum for quite some time now.

Anyhow, about the FG photo.

1.) She's out in a bar. I deduce this from the lighting of the picture (as well as the orange light trail) and the beer on the counter.
2.) Like a lot of people have been saying, it's a photographer's stamp, not a self portrait stamp.

Example below:

Napkin Nights does the same copyright image as well as other club promotion teams (local examples: www.tingppem.com and www.seaspot.com).

And as a woman, my gynecologist told me that UTI causes can range from multiple partners, to not peeing enough, to wearing too tight of pants on a regular basis.

It really depends on the individual woman's body, although, according to my gynecologist, the most common reasons are not peeing enough and having multiple sexual partners in a short time frame.

Based on this, I think the UTI clue was supposed to imply she's a little promiscuous or "sexually free" Wink

Either way, like it's been said before, it's a way for us to better understand her character in a more personal, intimate way.

As for the lamps, one of them is a metal cage table lamp with what appears to be a glass shade, the other is an oil lamp that's missing it's larger smoked glass shade (hence that empty looking rim surrounding the smaller clear funnel glass).

The one that looks like an oil lamp is actually a large lamp with a shade. Slow the movie down when she first opens the visor thingy.

I realise it looks like that... but through the video there's no shading to suggest there's a sloped lampshade and the colour is identical to the wall... Trust me, it's an oil lamp.

The girl shooting the Central Park scene under the bridge was Odette Yustman, playing Beth McIntyre. Going back through the (known) set shots and videos, Jamie doesn't show up anywhere. Which is odd.

It wasn't a scene we've seen photographs from, it was a typed synopsis that was extremely questionable in authenticity.

I'll post a link if I happen across it...

From slashfilm:

http://www.slashfilm.com/2007/08/06/set-report-and-photos-cloverfield1-18-08-shoots-in-central-park/#more-4008

The close-up shots in the videos ^^ clearly show Odette Yustman and Michael Stahl-David (Beth and Rob)...it's authentic.

Don't forget, we have 2 camera people. One video and one stills. Easy to get confused...

That can't be confirmed. The stills could be taken from a video. Videos can have time stamps, too.

Fer crying out loud, I just said it was from a written synopsis of the scene and I most definitely didn't say it took part in Central Park, I knew the scene was specifically set in a shelter of some sort and not the park. I wasn't questioning the authenticity of that scene, I was questioning the authenticity of the 'written synopsis scene':

[SPEC]hmmm new rumor?

-Which'd been cited by AICN which instantly made it questionable.

...I'm sorry for getting irate, but I know other people had also seen that topic with the scene claim by AICN. It was especially annoying because I don't believe a word of AICN's claim.

P.S. Please don't let me low post count fool you…I made several posts as a guest and have been following everything since July 3. I cannot wait until the movie is out.

hehe, actually at unfiction there is a sort of ethic that new people are more valuable than the oldtimers because new players bring new ideas and perspectives. I have to say that this ethic is not overt though. Everyone's ideas are good!

maybe I should say "welcome to the church of SpaceBass." Wink

On topic, the video, I don't have any good ideas. Maybe we will get some more soon. At least now we know to look for people that are mentioned on the myspace pages.

Thanks much. If anyone on these boards watches Battlestar Galactica on Scifi channel then this may remind you of the 8 or 10 webisdoes that aired on Scifi.com a month or so before season 3 started last October. They filled in some of the back-story between season 2 and 3, but didn't do much else. I can see a string of these cloverfield type webisodes over the next couple of months filling in the story and more fully developing the characters in the movie.

Another BSG fan? Praise the gods!...ermm, welcome to the board, chump.

You better fraking believe it! Two more months until BSG: Razor! However, I hate their Sopranos-style lengthy time off between seasons.

Back on topic, some have discussed that Jamie cold have more then just a bladder infection, perhaps something more sinister courtesy of her guy, Teddy? I don't know, anything is possible at this point, a few move videos should shed more light on this…in any event, once the movie starts, put a Red Shirt on her 'cause I don't think she'll be around more then the first 15 or 20 minutes.

You know what I don't get?
In the video, Jamie says that she doesn't want it posted on the internet.
But it's on the internet.
And we can't say that Teddy did it, because the main page says

"Just for you Teddy-bear! I miss ya like CRAZY already!!!

Love, your Lil' Lascano"

I just thought of something... Can Jamie make web pages, or did she get Rob to help her make it? Or perhaps Teddy made it for her?

On The Wall...

That poster on the wall looks suspiciously like a poster my brother once had on his wall of "the laws of the actors" or some such. (He's also an actor) Looking it up just now I see that it was a document put out by an office called the "Master of Revels" in Tudor England. The office developed into a "censor" of sorts for actors and acting troupes. According to Wikipedia:

Quote:
The Revels Accounts provide scholars with facts, dates, and other data available nowhere else

I doubt it's the same, but the path it led me down just now is kind of intriguing...

Edit: ps - I'm 20 minutes from Woodstown... Anyone drive there yet?
