Yeah...some people have suggested that the (so far) unidentified blonde "Rob's awesome" girl in the trailer is Jamie Lascano...but I don't see it, either. Yeah, they're both blonde, but the similarities end there -- the Transformers trailer girl has a raspier cigarettes-n-alcohol voice (Jamie's is more soft-spoken), and a broader face, with larger and more wide-set eyes.

The differences may be subtle, but they're there. Although the *broader* similarities lead me to another question: could there have been a casting change THIS early in production...? i.e.: could an earlier actress have been used to represent Jamie Lascano as "Rob's awesome" Girl in the trailer, only to have JJ pick a different actress later on to use in the 1-18-08.com and Myspace shots, as well as the jamieandteddy video?

...Probably not. But...maybe.

 		its been talked about (the casting change) but i really dont think so. but if that is the case than its just more fodder for the cynics out there who dont believe this is an ARG. cause if this was an ARG a casting change like that (especially when it comes to such an important character to the game) could shift focus away from what they want us to find which is not in their best interest.

I don't think it's a big deal. They don't specifically name the blonde in the trailer, so it could just be anyone. There are plenty of other people in the trailer that are not part of the MySpace 7 (Asian dude).

....but you are right, it can cause confusion.

This happened in the Lost Experience ARG with Hugh McIntyre. They had a "stock" photo for him on the website, then when they used him in videos, it was a different person. It was even mentioned when he appeared on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show", and explained as a webmaster error.

 		i know this sounds stupid, but is it just me or does it look like a face/skull in the beginning and end of that video? it's probably nothing, but i thought i'd just throw that out there.

This is AR, but I don't think it is an ARG. There doesn't seem to be a "game" element.

Right now, I'm just considering it "Viral Marketing"

 		IMHO, I think the trailer girl and this girl are one and the same. Aside from the freckle pattern on the nose (which, if I'm seeing right, looks the same,) the bone structure of her face (I think, I don't know the technical names for this stuff) when she smiles is remarkably similar. I agree, she does look slightly different picture to picture, but I would bet it's the same girl. And if I'm wrong, I'll... acknowledge it, I guess.

And think about it, who knows how long a period of time (in real-life, now) elapsed between the trailer and the photographs and this new video. She could have had her eyebrows plucked after the trailer, might have gained/lost weight. A number of things could be the reason she looks different.

 		You need to go outside and get some fresh air if you think it's the same girl. They don't look anything alike! This is worse than when they thought two two girls in the pic on 1-18-08.com were the same person.

This assumes they are thinking of this in terms of an ARG as it is framed in your mind. Even if they think this is an ARG, it's not following the 'conventional wisdom' of seasoned ARG players. If they think this is an ARG, they've created their own definition based upon their own impressions of what constitutes an ARG and what use it is to them as a marketing tool.

I would suggest that many of the ARG aficionados would think of the film as the nice treat after the ARG. To the people making all of this, it's all about the film. That's the big picture (pardon the pun) they see, and all of this leading up to it is just a tool to support the film. Such being the case, some errors in the ARG (like a casting change) would be negligible to them. I'd say it's good judgment on their part, because it's likely only maybe 25% of the people that go to see the film will have been a part of all this that's leading up to it. How many people watch Lost vs how many participated in The Lost Experience? I myself didn't even know about the 'Sector 7' ARG (or whatever it was) until AFTER I saw Transformers.

Can someone post/repost a picture of Jaime and the girl in the trailer side by side...pretty please? Smile I just want people to see it's not the same girl. Completely different features except for the hair maybe.

 		Safe to say the jury's still out as to whether it's Jamie or not... me? I'll wait and see what stuff could come from any possible future videos from Jamie and Teddy, although just to add one more idea to the pile, Jamie and 'blond trailer girl' (who oddly looks more like Jamie when she says "He's here" than when she's interviewed about Rob) both wear a bracelet on their right arm. Take that for whatever it's worth. Smile

 		Jamie and trailer girl may be the same character (similar features, the bracelet and absence of 'myspace Jamie' in the trailer) but definitely not the same person.
I'm NOT putting anyone down who thinks they are the same person. Everyone is different, and not everyone's ability to distinguish features in people are the same. Myself, I can't remember names. But I remember faces. And I can clearly see that they are two different people.

My theory: Trailer girl and Myspace Jamie are the same character, different actresses.

This what I'm thinking as well. There are certain features I notice that a very different about the two.

If a there was a re-casting for the part, they did a pretty good job of matching the two people.
