Wait. What does this mean? Cortana? Could that mean that AR was Gravemind, then New AR is Cortana taken over Gravemind? Gravemind leading us bad way Cortana leading us good? Or reverse? Rampancy?
WHOA!

Tracks are being covered. Both the original post and a few posts made in relation to this new activity have disappeared.
This post still exists, no direct posts but AR appears to have edited a few users' posts.
What could this mean? Why would they bring AR back? Keep an eye on SOTA and other important sites, they might begin to change too.

Another user just posted a transcript of AR's post. Take a look.
Quote:
This vessel I have stolen is leaking
A jar too small to hold an ocean
I cracked it open it to bear me up
Another soul snuffed to speed my passage
Another life desiccated and scattered to the Grand Cycle
I wish to say, just once and truly
This was not a whim
I shared Adjutant Reflex's pain as it passed
It knew who I was
And why I came
It knew that there was purpose to this
And that a sacrifice had been forced upon it
As it was on trillions past
Another sacrifice comes
But for whom?
The answer lies very far from here
Eleven days
One hour
Thirty eight minutes
And untold light years
Look for me in the dark
Where he cannot find us
This is how the world ends.
Also, original post was titled "An Empty Casket."
Other info:
* AR (almost certainly NAR) apparently edited another user's post, quoting it and adding "Gravemind much?" Since the thread was deleted, evidence supporting this can't be found, but most people on Bnet right now seem to agree that it happened. A poster's summary of the quote editing:
Quote:
Yeah, he edited a post quoting his first post. He added Gravemind much? to it. Then after it was unlocked again, that post was completely changed to say something about being hacked and a system error. I tried to quote it but then the thread got deleted.
Apparently, the thread was locked and unlocked multiple times before it disappeared.
* From the time of the post, the "eleven days, one hour, thirty eight minutes" part matches almost exactly with 12:00 AM, September 25, the release date and time of Halo 3 in North America.
* Also, many people are speculating about the rampancy of NAR. While it's a stretch, this could relate to the fact that another, almost certainly OOG poster has been trolling the Bnet forums and posting tons of fake spoilers and such, before, during, and after the incident.

Edited Posts Apparently he also edited two other user posts in a thread entitled "AdjutantReflex".

The ARG posts were deleted due to the Great Bungie hacking (wasn't really great).

I think maybe the original post was "The ARG posts were deleted due to the Great Bungie hacking" and 'AR' added "(wasn't really great)" on the end.
Which sounds like Cortana's usual attitude.

that actually seems plausible (imitates jamie from mythbusters)

You know what?
I love this.
Here me out, the flood are extragalactic, right? Halo3.com said so.
Math is the basic language of the universe, so when the flood originally made contact, they infected a monitor. The first gravemind named itself accordingly: Adjutant Reflex.
Adjutant:-- Military. a staff officer who assists the commanding officer in issuing orders.
Reflex:-- the nerve impulse from a receptor being transmitted inward to a nerve center that in turn transmits it outward to an effector.
Essentially it named itself: "The controller of the flood."
It translated it's outward communication through what it saw as the conduit between it's universal language and the food source that was fighting back and spoke just like a monitor. It was in turn destroyed by halo's weapon. It's living tissue withered and starved away until all that remained was the infected monitor. Another monitor received whatever transmissions it was able to send outwards to us (the AR forum entries) and promptly, with regard to protocols, jammed them.
Fast forward. Cortana somehow stumbles upon what appears to be a monitor and makes a home inside it. Why does the First Gravemind agree? Their goal is essentially the same: stop the firing of the halos. So Cortana overrides whatever is preventing the sending of messages, and sends us the poem, before being jammed once more.

Look at the AR posts in the context of the flood and their first contact with a new species.

The Flood = The Array
The Gravemind = The Facilitator
Heck, I almost want to go through this post by post.

Hmm, I will think about this a bit.
One thing though, the Array mentioned is the array of 7 Halo's, the 'first array event' was the firing of the Halo's the first time around.

Adjusted for relativistic effects, from the first array event, date has no local relevance.
Why can't the first array event be the birth of the flood or the first time the flood infected a galaxy.
Essentially he is saying "The time we began is of no consequence here."
