Stella Artois' Re-Designed"Cinematic Website" Launched Today

I doubt this will become an ARG, per se, but given Stella Artois' history in the genre, there could be some potential.

Excerpt from an interview with the site's creators on the Stella Artois blog:

What do you hope that people will get from the site – immediate impact and lasting impressions?

Johan: I hope that they will get a true Stella Artois experience and that they are impressed with what we have done, which hopefully will take its place at the forefront of interactive brand advertising.

Tim: I hope they will get to experience something new & different online while gaining some insights & smiles.

I'm not sure what a cinematic website would ultimately entail, but it promises to be interesting if nothing else.

I got a sneak preview and spent a lot of time on it - it is engaging and has some fun puzzles to play, although appears to fall more into the timewaster category. Took me a good hour to take a look at it and not yet finished all the puzzles.

I agree. After writing my original post I decided to delve in and immediately came to the same conclusion.

It is an interesting take on what a website, especially a corporate website, should be. Although the navigation isn't "user-friendly" for anyone who'd want to quickly jump to various parts of the site.
