The circled letters on the map spell "uncoil." I'm unsure as to what that might mean right now.

[edit] Blagh, I missed the C from Michigan. It's "Council"

Also, anagrammed to "council" as pointed out by a few others on the SO boards. Very Happy

Well, the majority of the dots on the map that are in the Virginias point towards Harrisonburg, Lewisburg, Petersburg (or Romney.), there's some Fredricksburg, possibly some Williamsburg or the Richmond area.

Lotta 'burgs, eh? Sid, is your dreamcatcher running again? Unless something happened to good old BA, I think we might be seeing more.

I've also noticed that there are two areas on the map marked with a "c", signifying that something occured in Michigan and Virginia during the same year, possibly same date in 1952

I also PMed Howard with the message from Exu, waiting on a response. He hasn't posted in 2 days, so I don't know if he will respond.

It's never been "down and sleeping"! Very Happy But no, nothing new has shown up. Razz

Dunno, to me, the second "C" in Michigan looks like just the circled letter "C" for the COUNCIL (or UNCOIL). Could be significant tho.

Your PM must've poked him out of his morose hiding. He just posted! Smile

FYI
The letter to jjason from eXu came with a cat stamp.
The cat stamp matches the stamps we got from Florida that we thought were from BA.
But remember that BA denied sending them, the handwriting in the personalized letters did not match the handwriting in the letter from BA to Marie, and the personalized letters were signed with "B," not "BA."

So it could be that eXu == B that sent the letters to us, leading us to SentryOutpost, and to BA and her craigslist dreamworld.

good thought sapagoo, althought why use another psudonym (I can't spell) when he alread has one.

general plot [spec] - I think Exu is playing a "protector" role, he has knowlege that we do not and is trying (within the ruleset that was given to him) to give us info. My thoughts are that Exu knew about 10-31-99, but I'm not 100% sure (thats why I asked at SO). But if he didn't than I think the event led him to the place where he is now.

OR Exu is a multiple personality disorder sufferer who went off his meds and this is all part of his elaborate fantasy. *shrug*

I was wondering about the little triangle symbols that are used on the map.

I have seen them in various context previously, personally I know it from physics and chemistry, and obviously greek delta, but thought this was interesting:

Quote:
[in refrence to the triangle symbol] is used in some 40 modern ideographic systems. It is used in the ground-to-air emergency code to mean it is probably safe to land here.

Sorry if this is rubbish!

Edit: possibley also worth a mention of the triangle symbol representing fire in astrology.
Fire - screaming jenny?

You are right Cissmace, that is an interesting interpretation.

Didn't someone get a CD with music in the mail?

Perhaps that is the music that needs to be played at proper time to hear the message?
