Well . . . it would actually only be probably 1 day of missed classes (unless you're in a weekend school ).
Haha, oops. I should probably look at a calendar before I jump to conclusions. Hm interesting. Well maybe I'll be able to have the crap scared out of me after all.

Kona, I too think there's something more to those underlined words.
I'd like to think that there is...but then again, this is coming from the people who brought you Red Circled Words.

My guess is Harrisonburg, too. And I'd SO be there if I could get my hands on a super-cheap plane ticket (and if I were invited, of course )
I wondered about those underlined words too. Also because the wording seems slightly strange. Probably nothing though....... Probably

Man the more I think about this the more I want to go. I love camping, and hell, what's camping without the risk of being snuffed out? Haha. Oh well missing 3-4 days of classes really isn't in the books for me. Whomever goes better make a video diary.

I would love to go too, but I'm not sure I'll be able to take those days off as I'm already taking some vacation time in October to attend a wedding (plus if it does happen to be 'cross country to Harrisonburg, I don't know if the missus would be too keen on a plane ticket ). We'll see tho!
PLANE TICKET??! come on man, you, me, the open road. it'd be just like thelma and louise!

CAR?!?! with all the backcountry gear? You should go on foot, it'd be just like Forrest Gump (Forrest Cthulhu?)... Only with backpacks. ^.^

Yes, but their tinfoil hats will save them!

For the record, I think this thread should be titled the BlEldritch project.
/me hopes it's Harrisonburg so as to necessitate a road trip,

We're taking the kids to Disney the week before. Unfortunately, there's no way I'd be able to do back-to-back trips. Sounds like it's going to be fun!

*thinks of a close up on Cthulhu, talking in a scared tone:
"*sob* I just want to apologize to Nyarlie's mom, and Shub-Nuggerath's mom, and my mom. I am so sorry! Because it was my fault. I was the one who brought them here. I was the one that said "keep going to R'lyeh." I was the one who said that we were not lost. It was my fault, because it was my project. I am so scared! I don't know what's out there. We are going to die out here! I am so scared! *sob*"

I am absolutely stoked about the idea of an immersive horror experience and am almost definltely planning on taking the adventure as long as it is not insanely inconvenient for me to do so... I unfortunately ran into one problem where I have a large exam on the first day of this excursion, but since I'd be done with it at aroudn 1:10 int he afternoon I figure if this ends up being in a place that's not insanely far from my current location in central NY that I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure I can take part in the awesomeness! I'm always one for a good horror experience since I grew up in a community with quite a few tales and stories of ancient mysteries, mysterious killings, crazy rabid bats that ate horses (got a grave to prove that one too... mwahahahha) and a very eerie but amazingly awesome haunted Inn right next door to my home that has quite a few eerie stories associated with it!... hehe... here's to hoping I can make this work!!!

Ravenwolf: sounds like you'll be sharing some scary ghost stories around the campfire.
I hope you can make it, this sounds perfect for you.
