Thanks Waitress, I figured it out in my program at last, it was a weird glitch believe it or not. When do people most often get on? Once I got it figured out, the room was empty.

Well, I guess I'm assuming I had it figured out >_>

 		Summary of the Black Swan Theory from Wikipedia, for those who haven't looked:

In Nassim Nicholas Taleb's definition, a black swan is a large-impact, hard-to-predict, and rare event beyond the realm of normal expectations. Much of scientific discoveries for him are black swans—"undirected" and unpredicted. An event often referred to as a "black swan" is the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The term black swan comes from the ancient Western conception that all swans were white in color. In that context, a black swan was a metaphor for something that could not exist. The 17th Century discovery of black swans in Australia metamorphosed the term to connote that the perceived impossibility actually came to pass.

By the way...I think that maybe two of you have seen me, so I just wanted to introduce myself. ^^ I've been lurking around this thread since it started, and I wanted to get involved. Everything's getting intriguing.

Holy cow, how was ben aka black swan found??? what the heck???

Oh, I read that chat log. geeze, took me forever. So when will scare meet with one of the cards? the two of spades was it? This is exciting. I too notice how all the cards are located in various cities. I wonder if all of them will meet up with some people in that area. That would be crazy. I didn't send my info cos, frankly, i feel a little behind everyone who already did so. They probably have enough people to send stuff to. I'm glad I read that chat log before I gave out my number to that last number.

Athena seems cool! I wonder if she'll hack back into her profile.

This is so overwhelming it seems. I'm excited. I hope you guys don't mind if i jump right in here. I have no clue what to do though.

 		More Wikireading. This looks interesting:

Taleb's Black Swan has a central and unique attribute: The high impact. His claim is that almost all consequential events in history come from the unexpected—while humans convince themselves that these events are explainable in hindsight.

So, when the Black Swan Theory is applied to this situation, something's going to happen that none of us have forseen, but we'll think it'll seem so obvious when we look back on it that we'll wonder why we didn't think of it ourselves.

Also, if Ben is the "Black Swan", he could be the initiator for such an event. Maybe he's hiding something right in front of our eyes that's gonna go off like a time bomb. Or maybe his origin is from something that nobody saw coming...I guess there's a lot of ways one could slice this.

Hey guys, I got an e-mail from the two of clubs.

If I may be so bold as to say so, the Korp seems just like a personification of American government. Especially now, when they were so stupid as to overlook something like email. :p

What's getting me is this: Are the Aces in charge of the deck AND Athena? Just what kind of role do they play in all this?

That's a good question. It's curious, as I viewed Athena as the leader, but she has people telling her what to do? And lol at the american gov't thing.

Do you know about the irc chat, doll? There's a bunch of us there, now. I think the info's posted elsewhere on the thread...I can find it if you want.
