 		Since Athena has been silenced, the aces are in control I bet. Athena is the Queen of Hearts and therefore wasn't supposed to be speaking.

That's a good question. It's curious, as I viewed Athena as the leader, but she has people telling her what to do? And lol at the american gov't thing.

Do you know about the irc chat, doll? There's a bunch of us there, now. I think the info's posted elsewhere on the thread...I can find it if you want.


I had a theory that Athena was a "Queen of Hearts", and that the cards were her "card soldiers"...all of the Alice in Wonderland references fueled this idea even further. But I guess it's false. XD

I do know about the IRC chat, yes. However, I'm at school now and I'd get crucified if I downloaded anything to the school computers...once I get home, though, I'll come join you all. ^^ It'd be awesome if you could find the info for me. Thanks so much!

Tar0t represents each card's function, more or less.

Athena is (or was) the Queen of Hearts. When researching what role she would play in Tar0t, we see she is "sensitive, vulnerable, omniscient woman who offers unconditional love." Also, as we could all see, "she sometimes appears slightly unfocused or perhaps overwhelmed, filled as she is with spirits" as she is the embodiment of benevolence. She spoke to us when she knew we needed help, even though she did so to a fault and is now silenced.

What can be deduced by this bit of information (assuming we're right) is that the Aces are indeed in control and that each suit likely will follow their original meanings in the Tar0t.

What do you think? And why the hell is tar0t a spam word? Sad

Ben's myspace username-tag-thing: myspace.com/benchatswalk is an anagram of ketch black swan or black swan ketch.

Googling ships named blackswan I came upon this,

I thought about the tarot concept too. So I decided to do an introductory analysis of the cards based on the tarot. More to come if it looks like this is right.

The different suits, as I mentioned earlier, equate to the four elements. Not actual elements per-say, but concepts.

Diamonds=Disks/Pentacles=Earth
Hearts=Cups=Water
Spades=Swords=Air
Clubs=Wands=Fire

The four elements also represent the four worlds of the qabalist.

The four Aces
The aces pertain to Kether on the Tree of Life. These are the roots of the four elements. The aces provide the initial thrust of pure elemental energy in each of the four suits. This initial energy is progressively materialized as we go from the aces to the tens.

The four 2's
These cards refer to Chokmah on the tree of life. The elements here are in there original harmonious condition, uncontaminated by any outside influences. The two cards in the four suits imply the initiation and fecundation power of the four elements. The twos are the first tangible manifestation of elemental energy, while the aces are viewed as unmanifest potential.

The four 3's
These cards refer to Binah on the Tree of Life. They express understanding and the idea of stability as well as action commenced.

The four 4's
These cards refer to Chesed on the Tree of Life. They express solidification, crystallization, materialization, completion, and making a situation fixed.

The four 5's
Refer to Geburah on the Tree. These cards suggest the idea of ultimate success or failure and the appearance of obstacles. However, the obstacles are not necessarily evil, but rather are seen as trials to be overcome.

The four 6's
Refer to Tiphareth on the Tree. These cards represent accomplishment and demonstrate the respective elemental energies at their practical best.

The four 7's
Refer to Netzach on the Tree. At this instance, the elements are in degeneration and at it's weakest point in the material plane.

The four 8's
Refer to Hod on the Tree. Generally show solitary success and remedy the error seen in the sevens. However, this does not lead to any great creation. Rather, they are a reaction the previous imbalance.

The four 9's
Refer to Yesod on the Tree. After the problems and misfortunes of the sevens and eights, we now have a great crystallization of energy, powerfully formed on a strong and firm foundation.

The four 10's
Refer to Malkuth on the Tree. Here elemental forces of the suits reach their ultimate materialization. The situation or circumstance is finally and thoroughly determined. The whirling force of the ace has become the concrete force of the ten.

I can go on for a while about this, this is pretty much a quick teaser. The tarot is essentially a pictorial representation of the universe.

 		I'm skeptical that Ben is IG. There's nothing on his MS page that leads me to believe he's anything other then another player.

Primarily, it's the comment from the Deuce of Clubs that makes me suspicious, so I don't think he's a bag we should be throwing out eggs in. Of course, any further proof would be cool.

Some things that seem off to me on his profile:

His profile does say: '"Who I'd like to meet: Athena, breaking my heart..."

Also Athena appears to be riding a swan in her profile pic.

His video under movies is of a black swan hatching and it says "I didn't see that coming.. " hmm curious.

We have no proof that he is IG, but I think we should ask Athena is she has a relationship with Ben when we speak to her next. I think she would be honest with us.
