exactly.

I was hoping to decompile the default swf file in hopes that it would lead to sources for the images. Unfortunately it did not. It did lead me however to the swf file that plays the monsters roar, but everyone has already heard that. Smile

 		At the very least you can get to the individual image swf files like this:

 		I've been away from this for a long time - how long has the new pic. on 1-18-08.com been up? The blurry one with the guys in orange suits - I didn't see any threads about it. Is it brand new, or is it so old it's already been talked to death?

It looks like it was taken at the Chuai station when the news video was shot!

After going through the source in the main page (photos_8.swf) [side note: if you go direct to that, you only see 5 of the pictures] I found an action that contained an algorithm which had several variables such as (pic_ + i + .swf) or something to that effect, I have to redownload the decompiler here and re-check now that I am home.

I am sure that there is nothing of significance there, this is just more for my own fun and amusement.

The Flash applet loops from 1 to "n", loading all the relevant pictures.

Since the "n" is actually hard-coded in to the Flash component itself, every time a new picture is added to the site the primary SWF file needs to be updated as well.

I find this an odd way of doing thing, considering every other Flash component they use (Slusho menus, Slusho Happy Talk, TIDOWave Crueletin board) uses an external XML file to maintain the data so that the main Flash doesn't ever have to change.

 		I thought the exact same. I was almost sure that they were using an XML File to control the content, but alas, they aren't (or at least I haven't found any indication of that yet)
