They are here was a dutch ARG that played May-June 2007.

It is going to his second stage and now it is in English.

One of the main characters Wallfly sended me a message to be part of a group on hyves. (something like myspace).

Since this arg is in english now, I thought maybe you will enjoy playing along.

The video's Hikari placed on Hyves have a message. She says that on her blog. I have to look deeper into them because the message is cryptic or a puzzle i think.

On www.t-a-h.nl/again is said that 28 September 'they' come back. Eigther this means that yesterday this second part started (I received the mail yesterday) or there is something else out there we have to find out.

I need to search for a weapon to stop this raving madness of the cyborgs. Hikari is contacting me and playing the nice girl but she's a sheep in wolves clothes so I cannot lose my alertness for a second. I searched for a method to stop her. She's partly human, partly Gliese. That makes her a cyborg. But Gliese life originates most likely from water, like we do. In fact, they might have had the same organic evolution as we humans did! Hikari is also partly Japanese.

I came across a song or hymn that her Japanese and human side could react on: "Hotaru no Hikari" (light of fireflies) is a Japanese folk song sung to the music of the Scottish folk song "Auld Lang Syne." It's a typical graduation/goodbye song. It seems that instrumental versions of "Hotaru no Hikari" have been broadcast at supermarkets and pachinko parlours at closing time. When customers start hearing this song over the PA system, it is time for them to leave. I'm downloading this song on my mobile. Whenever she's creeping up on me I'll play it.

There's a small risk though: around 1880, "Hotaru no Hikari" was possibly sang by young men who were being sent off to war upon graduating from high school. So the song could make her even more caught up in war fever. Still, I'll take my chances.

In one of her diary entries she says :

 		This looks highly interesting but can someone place a link to where I can catch up with this cause I dunno where this Hyves is and I'm just completely lost.

 		Let me explain a little bit about the first part of the ARG, because I realised that only a few played this, because it was in dutch. (second part is english and not only aimed at The Netherlands I think).

First part was a marketing arg for UPC to promote their 2 new digital channels on cable television. Sci-Fi channel and 13th Street (a thriller channel ?). The winner could program a whole day at one of these 2 channels.

The first part was aimed at the dutch public. It started with a live event in the centre of Amsterdam. It was all a bit mysterious. 2 japanese tourists were involved in the story. The ARG that followed was not very good. There were a lot of puzzles, but they posted the way to the solution 3 or 4 days after they posted the solution. Waisting time of many people this way.

Now, in this second part, the japanese girl seems to be from outer space. Not sure if she is good or bad. When you read her diary and blog it seems that she has some evil influences but wants to be good. (Mozart ?). These people from outer space wants to reign the world ?

The only lead is the name of the hyves spot. "We are here" (again?)
