Isis is partly opened - Is it broken?? How do I fix it??

I was able to open my Isis using your directions! Thanks! I was also able to reset it. As I tried to do the puzzle again, something happened when I began to unscrew the ball. It began to unscrew in the counter clockwise direction, but when the placentas lined up again when I began going clockwise, the ball stopped turning, yet the 2 halves are separated a tiny but. I can't get it opened. Any ideas???

Try this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. Go back through the maze. Depress the plunger and keep it depressed.

2. Turn plunger side down. Keeping the plunger depressed rotate the Isis until the remaining two ball bearings go quiet. Depress the plunger the rest of the way.

3. While keeping the Isis plunger side down and keeping the plunger fully depressed with one hand unscrew it with the other.

This position is somewhat awkward, but since your Isis is partially open the maze/lock will probably not latch into the unlock position even with the plunger fully depressed. It must be held there by keeping the plunger fully depressed while unscrewing.
