 		[TROUT] [SPEC] The city is the monster??
On youtube there is a guy saying that the monster is the island of new york.
A major clue for this is in the preview it says previous location of Manhattan, if it was destroyed or put to rubble you would still say it was manhattan. Now if it totally got up and killed everyone and moved away then you not say that it is still Manhattan if you catch my drift.

I dont know if this has been talked about already, so if it has....my bad.


Oh yeah whats with this six thing, i have found like 6 different things that deal with six. And if you take the date somehow you get 6 but thats could just be coincidence.

 		I know this has been discussed/debunked/written off as self-promotion before, but I still really like the guy's video theory. Not because I believe it (I don't), but because it was just plainly interesting, and he had a lot of stuff to at least back up such a wild claim.

Half the fun of Cloverfield has been the speculation, and a lot of the wild speculation that isn't grounded is included in that. So what if the theory was ridiculous and wrong? He said it was his theory and his theory alone, and made an interesting video to explain why.

It's a fun way to kill a few minutes, IMO.

There's nothing wrong with speculation and posting your theories... however, if there is already a thread that exists on the topic, post your theory in that thread!!!

That's what "TROUT" means: This is already being discussed in another thread, so you should post in the other thread.
