Awesome! Thanks Mr. Toasty!

No problem. My guess is that it should show before the flash loads, but you most likely won't see it unless you clear your cache and your machine or internet connection is slow.

This makes me wonder if you can trick the site into thinking you don't have Flash and it shows you different content?

There are also parameters sent to Flash objects in the page script like this:
Code:
var fo = new FlashObject('swf/nav.swf', 'navigation', '912', '300', '8');
fo.addParam('menu', 'false');
fo.addParam('wmode', 'transparent');
fo.write('header');

Not sure if changing a 'false' to 'true' will show us anything more. Too lazy to look too deep into the decompiled flash right now.

I'm really sensing another 'hanso foundation' caper where the crisis is gonna be blamed on the big, evil, greedy corporation or corporate boss (remember mittlework?)

here is what I got with disabled flash.... i'm gonna keep playing around with a saved version of the source code in a html document. You can do it to if you want, by copying the source code over to notepad, save it as a .html file, and then as "http://tagruato.jp/" before all the file location references in the code and save

btw setting that specific command to 'true' does nothing I can see

what I find interesting is the following line of HTML referring to the links at the bottom of the page:

<a class='footerLink' href=''>Privacy and Legal</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;<a class='footerLink' href=''>Sitemap</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;<a class='footerLink' href=''>Help</a>

the link targets are left blank [boldened bits].... I think this site is still being developed

The consistent thing I've found in the Source code for all the websites is that a base site is made, and when we find it, "they" begin working on it more heavily. Some of the sites (like the myspaces) were ready and are sites that a person would normally update anyway, but Slusho was sitting there with almost no links working when it was found, and this page is the same way in it's first form. Now that it's been found, it will be fleshed out. If there are other sites (like JJ said), that we haven't found yet, they won't be complete fully-functional sites, they will be bare bones until we find them. You can only have so many coders working at a time, and "they" aren't going to update them until we give them a reason to.

Logic states that by my theory "they" watch these forums... which was kinda proven when JJ told ARGamers that Ethan Haas had nothing to do with 11808, since that meant that he or his people had been cruising these sites for false info... "They"'re watching....

if they are indeed watching us seeing if we are hooking onto their bait like the promotional fishermen that they are, maybe we should all just play dumb and thus forcing them to provide us with more informaiton (joke).

As for the website, They are probably leaving gaps in the coding for if and when they decide to provide us with more obscure clues. Whos going to stakeout the website 24/7 to find out what the add ons are? not me thats for sure. I'm into solving the mystery, but i wouldn't lose sleep over it

There are 2 issues bothering me about this site at the moment. The first is the list of languages to choose from from the front page. There are 13 languages which I would assume would match up with the 13 drilling platforms that are supposedly currently functional. But why choose these languages? There's only 1 platform in the Mediterranean and yet there are 5 European languages represted here. And there a some fairly obscure languages here. Any ideas?

The other problem is that it is now October the 1st and yet supposedly the Mid-Atlantic platform (the one presumably that's going to feature in the flim) was supposed to open in September. Why is there no mention of it?

I'm wracking my brains and trawling tagruato.com but can't find anything.

perhaps someone that is familiar with other languages should check the other pages for discrepencies.

also, does anyone else think that the full story of the slusho given to the nursing home sounds like a bunch of ditsy j-pop girls running around taunting old people because they cant get out of bed?

I don't have a picture of the "whale" to the left on the opening page. Any ideas why not?

When you select a new location on the interactive drilling locations page, gibberish spews out as the information on the station appears at the bottom of the screen.

Someone else brought this up previously and it was dismissed, but now that we've seen that evil logo that shows up for only a split second, it occurs to me that we should probably investigate.

I would do it myself, but sadly I don't have the know-how

Edited to add: Now that there appears to be hidden content on the site (that is, the evil logo that flashes by so quickly), there is also the potential for a mole on the inside. How else did that logo get there? I wouldn't guess it was the director of marketing for Tagruato trying to be clever. If there is a mole, then this really may be turning into an ARG after all.

Good idea about the mole.

If this site is meant to help drive the game forward, then there will definitely be updates. The lack of completeness in certain areas (financial statements, subsidiary sites) may be meant to control the pace of the game.

While I do find it likely that the PMs have their eyes on boards like this one, I think it just as likely if not moreso that they merely are looking at the Google Analytics statistics from the Urchin tracker on the site to see if the site has been discovered and has been seen by enough eyes to move to the next step. "Sept. 28 - 0 hits. Sept. 29 - 10,000 hits. OK, now we can worry about updates."

Oh, and Google has now finally crawled the page as of Sept. 30th.

One comment about the "mole" above. I highly agree that this site now opens up the possibility of a whistleblower, especially if this continues the similarities with the Lost Experience. However that image is hardly hidden, it just gets used if you don't have flash. Still odd though that it is a completely different and somewhat ominous logo.

Okay, two things. The first is, do you think this "evil logo" is simply a reference to Tagruato's old moto "holding Earth's energy in my fist"? Perhaps it was just the old logo? That can't explain why it was hidden, but thought I'd point that out.

The second thing is that if someone decompiled the flash on this site and was unable to find this alternate logo, wouldn't it still be possible that the flash on the Slusho site might actually have some hidden secrets as well?
