Directly under the bar code at the top of the PDF. It looks as if it is part of it, but it stands out if you zoom in.

It's gonna take some serious trying to get the code. The dots and dashes are of unequal lengths meaning that some "dashes" may in fact be two dots side by side...so I can't tell how to decode it.

It does not look like morse to me. It would if the dots and dashes were the same size, but none of them are.

If it is a code at all; I was just pointing out that it appeared odd to me. I thought the bar code in general was odd...

I actually just ran it through a scanner and it couldn't come up with anything. I'm trying to decode it by hand now.

There might be more to it, though.

EDIT: It appears to be a Pharmacode, but I'm having some trouble decoding it.

EDIT2: Not a Pharmacode, see my later post for the translation.

Hey, anybody notice the pointilism "RED MONDAY" across the PDF? Not really important, but I thought it was kinda cool

Barcode Decryption
Less Interesting Than We Hoped

Decoded the barcode at the top, it's not a Pharmacode (I got an accidental false positive). A much simpler linear barcode, just couldn't get a good read on it, apparently.

It translates to:

10222007A KHALID BIN SULTAN REPORTC

So, a report on our subject with today's date. Not particularly earth-shattering, unfortunately.

Thanks Satire! Not really pertinent, but maybe barcode is a new way for JC to get in touch with us...

Spelling

Anyone catch that the phrase "Never Ever Read Everthing Under Saturn" has "everything" mis-spelled? It's incorrect in both the source code and in the email.

And any word on what "thefirst" means?

"THEFIRST" is just another hint on the code to access the file.

I'm glad to hear that he agrees with us on Khan. We should start thinking about setting up smaller teams like he said, talking with one another about our specializations and such.

EDIT: Saw this in one of the links in the report.

"Before his fall, he had been lining up a fourth (so far undetected) big customer for his full-service bomb-building package."

Perhaps our good Saudi friend was Khan's fourth big customer.
