My name is Saul Hernandez. My code name anyways. I work for the NCS. What is going to happen on 11-26-07?

The date, code-named Red Monday, will be the starting point for an internet-based game with the same name. This genre of entertainment, called ARG (Alternative Reality Game) relies heavily on character-player interaction, which includes making phone calls to real land lines, e-mailing web sites, solving riddles proposed by characters and even meeting them in live events.

Red Monday is a particular game. It's not the kind of game you'd have your 9-year-old nephew play.

It involves real people, some of them being highly suspected by intelligence organizations all over the world for various illicit activities, like AQ Kahn. News from the real world also affect the game's unvierse, such as Musharraf's decision to establish Martial Law, which is an important event on the political aspect of the game. In fact the game even uses supposed "phone logs" from Echelon.

As you might've deduced for the last few comments, the game focuses on the fragile political and military balance in Middle East. But it doesn't stop there. China is suspected of being involved on the event too, which is majorly supported by information found on a chinese Embassy server. The asiatic giant has provided help to Afghanistan and several other countries in the region in various ways, which may lead to an armed conflict, which, given China's goal of becoming an important military power, is not unlikely to happen.

Based on information retrieved from a Saudi Embassy network, hosted on the US, we are coming to conclusions. Conclusions that some peole does not want us to know. And certainly, they're planning to keep everyone in the dark until it happens.

Not to mention the story seems to be based around me. I am a magor operative of the NCS. Working undercover with my own team which would otherwise be known as the Rabbit Hole. This seems pretty precise information, especially about me.

This is basically the synopsis of the story so far. This game is completly in depth and immerses you into the storyline with real life emails, Instant Messaging, phone logs, real maps, etc. The scary thing about this game is that it almost feels as if everything said is true and about to happen. But a game is just a game; anyway enjoy.

This is what I have edited it to. Any comments?

Umm, just one thing, perhaps we should say real locations instead of real maps, and show the location we found near Al Madinah. Or just putting the photo in the upper or lower part of the article, stating something like: "What is taking place in this building, found near Al Madinah? It's location was discovered in the Saudi and Chinese servers.". Or perhaps around the middle, like in any article.

Also, I'll start working on the leak's distribution tonight (exams coming up).

It seems like we are starting the leak tonight, redct, whenever you get the chance put what I have in the email on the site and whatever pictures you can.

I guess we should set some kind of time to start the spaming so i vote on doing it anywhere 11PM-3AM eastern time this is 8-12WT i believe. How does that sound to everyone.

If we are going to spam, we should do it all at once. Someone should be assigned to spamming each website. So tell me if you are into this mass spamming and what site you would like to spam (blogspot, youtube, [I want myspace], fotolog).

I'll go with my own site and possibly YouTube - but I'm not totally sure how that's going to be managed. YouTube isn't good for plain text, y'know Wink

EDIT: It's up on my site.

DOUBLE EDIT: If you guys could post links to all the different websites you've set up (Fotolog, MySpace, BlogSpot, etc) that would be _great_.

I'm gonna study for a couple of hours. After that, I'll be able to spam. I'll take fotolog. It's my pleasure to ruin such a hideous place xD In case nobody takes it, I'll get the blogspot too, but that'll happen only if we're short on spammers.

God, I feel so stupid. I've never liked getting spam. Now let's see what'll happen when I'm the one spamming xD

Also, I think it would be a good idea to set a standard spam message, so that when people see it, they'll know they're dealing with the same thing.

Here are the links:

And the youtube is redmonday112607.
The password is the same for all three, registered under the name of Saul Hernandez and with the team's "let's-blame-it-on-Saul" e-mail.

Run this through spell-check, too. This should be as clean as possible, so it doesn't turn anyone off right away.

I think there aren't any other mistakes. Change anything you feel we need to change. And remember not to post it yet, we have to wait for JC's drop.

Cr0ybot-checked version:

Quote:
My name is Saul Hernandez. My code name anyways. I work for the NCS.

What is going to happen on 11-26-07?

The date, code-named Red Monday, will be the starting point for an Internet-based game with the same name. This genre of entertainment, called ARG (Alternative Reality Game) relies heavily on character-player interaction, which includes making phone calls to real land lines, e-mailing, web sites, solving riddles proposed by characters and even meeting them in live events.

But Red Monday isn't just any game. It's not the kind of game you'd have your 9-year-old nephew play.

Red Monday involves real people, some of them highly suspected by intelligence organizations all over the world for various illicit activities, like AQ Kahn. News from the real world also affects the game's universe, such as Musharraf's decision to establish Martial Law, which has become an important factor in-game. In fact, Red Monday even uses supposed "phone logs" from Echelon.

As you might have deduced from the previous paragraph, this game focuses on the fragile political and military balance in Middle East. But it doesn't stop there. China is suspected of being involved in the event too, which is supported by information found on a Chinese Embassy server. The Asiatic giant has provided help to Afghanistan and several other countries in the region in various ways, help which may lead to an armed conflict. Given China's goal of becoming an important military power, this is not far from plausibility.

Based on information retrieved from a Saudi Embassy network, hosted in the US, we are coming to conclusions. Conclusions that some people do not want us to know. And they're planning to keep everyone in the dark until it happens.

Not to mention the story seems to involve me. I am a major operative of the NCS, working undercover with my own team also known as the Rabbit Hole. This is fairly precise information, especially concerning me.

This is the synopsis of the story so far. Red Monday is completely in depth and immerses you into the story line with real life emails, Instant Messaging, phone logs, real locations, etc. The scary thing is that it almost feels as if every development is true and about to happen. But then again, this is just a game.

Sorry if i seem a bit anal, but there's my revision. Nothing really changed, just grammar, sentence structure, and flow.

Your version's better, Cr0ybot. I say we use it. Although, we're still waiting for the drop... We've put a fair amount of work on this, I hope there isn't much to be changed.

That's not right, is it? The Rabbit Hole is the site in Saudi Arabia, not Saul's team.
