Where do I go to understand ARGs?

I realise this contributes very little to the thread, but really - how much content is there anyway?

Please go away, or find a better way to launch without spamming. Seriously. I'm not trying to be a dramallama, but people don't appreciate it when you spam their communications mediums with duplicate information over and over. Just because the venue is UF doesn't make your spam "cool", or "mysterious" in any way, shape or form.

Hmm ... I don't actually think Valot is the person running the game which we seem to have assumed this is a plug for. The only connection I see between his posts and the goldstein website is the mention of his grandfather dying (and a person dying is probably quite an obvious hook), and the type of writing (both seem to have the errors you'd expect from a non-native English speaker, but they don't feel like the same person's writing to me. Sherlock agrees). And that website and its puzzles seem pretty neatly put together, not the kind of person I'd expect to spam things like "how is ARG?" at us.

I think its more likely that this is an attempted illegal trailhead for another ARG

And what does 16510.704377252 WN mean? Has anyone figured that out yet? If its a code/clue of some kind, it seems like the kind of thing a newbie PM would put in as a random puzzle. The youtube challenge, on the other hand, is well developed and some effort has been put into giving it a credible IG reason.
