i like keeno_82uk theory. It makes sense to me.

question 1: Why did Jamie have a hard time with the camera?
Answer: Because Teddy sent it to her to be able to video the effects of whatever they are testing on her.

Question 2: Why isn't Jamie in the trailer?
Answer: Because she's sick (infected) beyond repair. Maybe Robs going to figure it out.

Question 3: Doesn't she look more docile in the second video? LIke a complete different person from the first video?

Question 4: Why would someone tell another person that they can't open a present until a certian day?
Answer: Because its the next stage of the experiment and must be done at that time. The only other time that a present is asked not to be opened until a certian date is xmas.

Question 5: what if she opens the present earlier than december?
Answer: Use your imagination on this one because i feel that this is the cause of the monster coming to NY, when the story origonates in Japan.

Not sure - it's not earlier than the 9th b/c, well, it's a surprise. (though that still doesn't explain everything). It's not later because the 9th gives her enough time to make plans and get things in order before going on her surprise trip.

Also, just a thought - if Teddy gives her a surprise trip, and it just happens to get her out of NYC on the 18th, then is Teddy trying to protect Jamie from something he knows will happen...?

great job mr. toasty. I would have never thought of that. But what if she's been given step one of the experiment process and step two MUST be on the 9th, jamie takes it too late, the result is a lure in her urine or something to get the monster to attack NY. Very possible. Sharks can pin point one drop of blood from hundreds of miles away.

i do not think that Jaime is the monster or that she turns into the monster because of this experiment. I feel that Slusho is doing this experiment on Jaime and that its going to attract the monster somehow someway.

Clue 2: from "happy talk" - "slusho is people" kind of like Soylent Green. Now i don't feel slusho IS made out of people, and this subject has been talked about many times, but i do believe its a clue to make us think of Soylent Green as a simile to Slusho as a popular drink that no one knows what is made of, but get hooked on it and the danger that follows after.
