i do not think that Jaime is the monster or that she turns into the monster because of this experiment. I feel that Slusho is doing this experiment on Jaime and that its going to attract the monster somehow someway.

Clue 2: from "happy talk" - "slusho is people" kind of like Soylent Green. Now i don't feel slusho IS made out of people, and this subject has been talked about many times, but i do believe its a clue to make us think of Soylent Green as a simile to Slusho as a popular drink that no one knows what is made of, but get hooked on it and the danger that follows after.

here is another example of what i feel Tagruato Corp. role in this film is..

Tagruato Corp. = Umbrella Corp.

see my metaphors?

I never thought of slusho that way.

I would like to remind you that someone on the forums confirmed they had sent in the phrase "Slusho is people" for the happy talk. I remember because everyone was wondering what it meant when I decided to register and explain it was a shout out to the famous movie phrase "Soylent Green is people". Someone continued by posting some kind of proof (i forget what it was) that he had sent it in.

I'd like to remind people that Slusho has been on the Asian market for quite some time (so much so it's the second most popular frozen beverage).

That being the case :

1) Why would they need to experiment on Jamie when they have a gigantic population already drinking the stuff?

and

2) Seeing as Slusho has been out in the world, consumed by millions of people already, if there were some side effects to be noticed and cause a ripple in the world, and the game is based some what on reality, you would think the IG characters would mention having heard about the odd behavior ensuing over seas due to Slusho consumption.

- - -

Please. Someone tell me how I'm wrong here, because at this point it is really blowing my mind that people are still throwing around the idea that somehow Slusho is going to affect anyone in the film (in terms of super powers, side effects, or experiments, etc. etc.)

why would slusho experiment? Maybe for world domination? Mind control? Who knows. But this is certian. Monster movies are all the same. Innocent suffer for the evils of others.

Godzilla=U.S drops the A bomb that created Godzilla. in the first movie godzilla destroys Tokyo because its a metaphor of the A bomb.

Slusho=Wants to be number 1 and make it so addictive so that they can garner control and take over.

Slusho doesn't make the monster, slusho causes the monster to arise, get it?

Absolutely and 100% - "You are correct, Sir! Heyooo!!"

There is no way, outside of pure fantasy fiction, that drinking a mass-produced and marketed (and consumed) beverage could turn anyone into monsters, or zombies, or anything... other than consumers. The negative effects of something like that would be, e.g., diarrhea, or, at the other end of the spectrum: cancer. Such are the mundane horrors of actual biology. Were it otherwise, we'd actually have real monsters; but, we don't - only in stories and movies. Crying or Very sad (I'm shocked to discover I'm actually sad about that)

At the same time, it's a monster-movie, so there's going to be some fantasy involved - obviously. But, given the realistic style of this movie, I think any direct link with Slusho - the drinkable product - would be too far-fetched. So, yeah, iconsumer, I'm with ya'.
