I'm beginning to suspect that Rob might not be the only one of the "Slusho Seven" who works for Tagruato/Slusho.

We know that:
*Rob works in marketing for Tagruato (he admitted it in an email to Colbyrook)
*Lil works as an HR rep for Penguin Publishing
*Hawk is an unemployed bum leeching off Lil and Rob
*Lena is an assistant at Atlas Talent Agency
*Beth is a program trader at Citigroup

We *don't* know where Jamie or Hud work, or their occupations. Could they be part of the Tagruato Family of Fine Companies as well...? It might go a long way toward explaining how this odd group met and became a circle of friends...

...and if, as I suspect, Teddy is from Tagruato also, then it could explain how Jamie met him...at an office party, or just at work...

i think we should get some females/males of a similar age to send them some IG messages saying they think they are hot and stuff and asking for more info about them to get them to disclose some stuff.

I just sent a message to Jamie. I used her attendance of Ithaca with a minor in photography as my springboard. I asked how here employment opportunities have looked since graduation.

Question to get me up to speed: Has anyone had a confirmed reply from any of the Myspace "Slusho 7"? Searched blogs and forums for hours and couldn't find anything. Also I see their friends lists are much bigger since way back when I first checked, are fans being added when they send friend requests now?

Hey guys -- trying to help out here and maybe save you all some time.

When the myspace websites were first launched, they accepted friends apparently first-come-first-serve or according to some unidentified criteria, but each hit a fixed number and stopped accepting. To my knowledge, no new friends have been accepted since then. I've been watching the numbers, they have either gone down or stayed the same.

As far as communicating with them, the only way to talk to them that I am aware of is to mention things in their profiles, which they sometimes reply to. But its no guarantee that they'll answer you. For instance, Lily has responded to questions about House of Leaves (a book in her profile), and Beth and Rob have responded to lateral riddles. But it's very hard to get them to respond to the questions you really want answered, they'll just ignore you if you get too close to home.

which isn't as oppressive as the myspace thread.

These are my observations, anyway. If you have better luck, please post and let us all know!

I don't know if you guys knew this yet but if you look in your "sent" folder in Myspace you can at least tell if a message has been opened by the recipient. If it has been opened it will be matked as "read", if it hasn't it will be marked as "sent". Might be usefull to determine if the content of what we are sending is the reason for no responses or if these just aren't even being opened. Which could mean then that we need to have a certain word or phrase in the subject line.

Also, anyone try to contact any of their OOG friends and see if you can use them?

OOG friends are just fans like you and me. What good would that do? The only "real" information you will be able to get will be from the "Slusho 7".
