Many thanks, NYC5. I've always assumed that if there are any puzzles to be solved from the content of the myspace pages, at least one of them would involve cross referencing stuff from each page, and the comments seemed like the obvious place for that. I think the story I pieced together from the comments is coherent and plausible, but there are a lot of gaps, leaps, assumptions, etc.

Also, the pictures on mypsace seem like a good place for some kind of puzzle. I still think there's something to be found in the pics.

Speaking of which... one reason for the PM's lack of activity lately could be that they've already given us everything we need to get to the next step, i.e., to find a new IG website. Since Tagruato has links to its subsidiaries (that don't do squat yet), my guess for an as-yet-undiscovered IG site would be something related to Teddy. And, I'm guessing that if we found that, we'd get a lot of good stuff, assuming Teddy's "cause" is somehow related to the monster's origins.

Assuming there's an IG site out there to be found, at some point, if we haven't found this hypothetical IG site, then they'll probably just feed it to us - to keep pace with the movie release, i.e., they probably have a general time-frame worked out for how this ARE/ARG will progress up to the point when the movie is released, and within that time-frame there may be some gaps where they can just do nothing and let us find things on our own - if we don't find whatever is next by a certain point, they just feed it to us, through myspace or 1-18-08.com, or Tagruato, etc. Just a thought. Only problem with this theory is that we seem to have found things that were only recently created - just before the clues for them were given to us. So, i dunno. Again, just a thought.

Maybe it's time to revive this thread. If you don't know what this thread is about--read the first post--it's basically a catchall where you have permission to post every harebrain theory, thought, find, question, etc. without fear of getting heckled. Trust me, if what you have to say warrants its own thread, the community will tell you. So, when in doubt, post it here.

Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Was going through some of the older threads, some of the newer stuff is getting a little beaten. Read some of the old ideas, and working with what we now know, up to Jamie and Teddy 6, I have a few more shots in the dark.

Teddy is being held against his will, we're fairly certain of that. Not sure where, but if it is the Chuai Station, then he's not far away. He's sent Jamie a package with incriminating evidence against Tagruato Corp. Tagruato may now have a link between Teddy and Jamie, and a way to get the evidence back.

They use jamielovesteddy to post a reply to Jamie. I think we may just get to see Teddy very soon. He might be tortured into contacting Jamie and arranging some sort of meeting, asking her for forgiveness, and wanting her to bring the samples out to him, in New York Harbor, where he will be aboard a Tagruato tanker arriving from Chuai Station. Jamie will go with some amount of trepidation, she feels like she's been f'ed over by Teddy, and so she tells Rob, who may be her liason with Tag in the states, being newly hired to their marketing department. She asks his advice, go or not? He says go, absolutely go! Because Rob has a little secret he's been keeping.... During the process of application with Tagruato Corp. Rob was approached by the FDA, who has been trying to place people inside the corporation at varying levels. Rob see's this as a great opportunity to see some of the workings of Tag, so he offers to go along and keep Jamie company.

Rob doesn't realize that the party is planned for him, so he grabs his suit and tie, and he and Jamie share a cab down to the docks. As they are about to take the barge out to the tanker, he gets a phone call from Marlena's guy(beginning of original teaser, second through the door) telling him that there's something big going on, and he needs him to get back up-town NOW! So Rob gets one last look at Jamie, and hops back in the cab.

Jamie gets to the tanker, one thing leads to another, and I'll leave that for now.

Rob gets to the apartment where the emergency is supposedly taking place, walks through the door, and big old surprise. But, the entire time he's there, he's regretting leaving Jamie, and his fact finding mission, hence the perturbed look and nonchalant attitude. He's downright concerned about Jamie, and he blew an opportunity to help the investigation. Might explain his actions and state of mind. When the tremor hits, and a news article comes on showing the tanker, he's in an absolute panic, but who can he tell? He's stuck in an unenviable position, and may know more about things than he will let on.

Then the explosion, and roar, and everything falls into place for Rob. Beth has left early, possibly seeing Rob leave earlier with Jamie has set her off, and she has more feelings for him than she lets on. After the SOL hits the street, he's trying to get everyone to safety, and he's galvanized into action. He needs to find Beth, and get out of town.

And Jamie? Well lets just say that if it was the tanker that went up in flames, firing barrels of oil AND deep sea nectar everywhere, then it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that she finally got to spread her hotness far and wide.

Jason dies protecting Rob, Lena inhales the residue from one of the inland carried barrels of DSN, and has what may be the mother of all asthmatic reactions. Hud stays for as long as he's able, and may get thrown from the chopper on the FIRST attempt to escape. After the chopper goes down, Beth and Rob are all thats left. Rob grabs the cam, and he and Beth head for a safe haven. Lil may get taken between Jason buying it, and the chopper out.

Fingers... tired... must..... rest

[edit] The only thing i'm not getting is, is MGP found, summoned, or created? God knows Tag isn't afraid to feed DSN to animals (Slusho! smilers visit animal shelter). And if Randy and company suddenly vanish into thin air, what's to say that the overzealous tree-huggers didn't whip up something awful at their little event? Or, path of least resistance. Tag drilled a hole into a sub-oceanic chamber and released something, and it could be one of the earliest known lifeforms on the planet.
