Well, the site's down right now...happened today, hopefully it'll be back up...

It's a possible ARG possibly connected to Cloverfield (a lot of clues link them)...I heard unfiction had a group following it.

Truth is, we don't know what it is...it a big mystery site...very well thought out, very indepth story, very freaky methods of involving the players...

Who knows what it is...but I've been with it from the beginning, just wanted to see if anyone around here was following it...because word was that you were.

Actually the site you are seeing is part of the storyline...the filmmaker is a character...so are the rest of the people mentioned on the site...

What you see on the surface is but the tip of a much bigger iceberg...but if you haven't heard about it before now, it's not worth digging in now, too much you missed, too much to catch up on, and the rabbit hole is a deep one.

Interesting.

There are certainly connections, to the point where it seems beyond a coincidence. However, that could easily be the marketing for the 48 hour movie trying to steal some of the audience from 1-18-08

Some similarities:

Based in NY, broadway to be exact
Pic of statue of liberty
Are looking for 6 actors (slusho has SEVEN, but 6 is a sig. number)
Its alternate reality (their "previous movies" are, as far as I can google, bogus)
contact person? Brody Hawkins.

So, I can see why you might think they're related. But I'm calling Ethan Haas on this one.

There are WAY more connections than that...

But you're right it may be intentional connections with something not related to gain response. Right now they have a small exclusive following...

I recommend just forgetting about it for now, if it turns out to be related, I'm sure you will all hear about it.
