[SL] Alice in Wonderland imagery

So, I got to thinking about all the illusions to Alice in Wonderland. Athena made a point about "52 cards=52 weeks". Well, there were 12 chapters in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It may just be a coincidence, but Good possibility that our story will follow a chapter a month.

Thoughts? Other Alice imagery come to mind?

That sounds like a fun project. I'll admit that I am not an AiW expert, but I have seen quite a few images related to it so far on the various pages we've seen.. I can gather them all up and see what all they've shown so far.

But it'll have to be after work. So someone else will probably do it before I get home.

That seems to be the popular idea, but of course there's no telling for sure 'till we walk through the gate, right? If so, cool. It wass only meant to be a good conversation starter.

The Bens

K, this is a longshot, but to muse out loud...
So I was thinking about our multiple Bens on MS. Okay, Check this out:
Michael Jackson had a pet mouse (or rat, whatever. It was a mouse). He wrote that song "Ben" about it. If we're to go along with our Alice theory, what's the possibility that Ben's our Dormouse? Don't know how much significance he has to the overall story, but I remember he got a bit upset and scared when Alice started growing again in the courtroom. Anyway, just thoughts.

Same with the "Rabbit Hole".

I dunno, but now I have a feeling to listen to "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. I haven't followed this ARG much, and I haven't read the book...

Who's our rabbit that's late? The Rabbit Hole is obviously an entrance.

On the Alice topic, I'm in the middle of rereading the book. I'll let you all know what comes of it. Very Happy

the book
Ooh

i'm going to read the annotated copy of both alice and looking glass. Um, or at least glance through it. I found a book "the illustrated works of Alice in Wonderland" or something like that. I didn't pick it up or skim through it, maybe next time.

Actually a whole audio book of the first and the unabridged text can both be found in Wikipedia.
Just search Alice in Wonderland Smile

Well, I'm going to keep reading it... my two year old daughter likes to hear her daddy read about Alice.

But I've always liked the poem of Jabberwocky... Wrote a paper in creative writing class about the fictional words Lewis Carroll used in that poem.
