I have a relevant entry in my livejournal where I discuss the connection between Taleb's fallacies and our experiences thusfar.

Check out the confirmation bias at work here - in my knowledge & reality philosophy course, we just covered Hume's problem of induction. Coincidence? I think...maybe...not? I dunno yet. Wink

I forgot to add that one. Was hoping to pick it up at the library if they have it. or at least find more information on it.
