 		link between the facts from now
After finding the relation of the deep sea drilling station, the possible dual nature of Vernon MacDooble and reading about the extremophile thread I tought about this:

Maybe human serves as an intermediate host for the organism that produce the deep sea nectar. The monster is then attracted to human who ate the DSI because they smell good and eats them. The monster is the final host of the life cycle of the bacteria/fungi that produce the deep sea nectar. Harversting the DSI ruptured the normal cycle wich had the monster eating fish or else. Then I suppose the film is about the effects of a modified food network. The date of the events may represent the shift of balance toward the "human resource" instead of the "aquatic resource" explaining why the monster never shown himself before even if the DSI was available through Japan already.

 		How about this thought:

You drink Slusho! and your are "infected" by the creatures DNA... as you drink more, the foreign DNA concentration grows... at a certain level of saturation, you become the potential nucleus for a "colony creature" that is the CloverField monster.

So, if you drink enough of Slusho under the right conditions, you start to form a larger creature made of you and other Slusho! drinkers. And you search out more Slusho! drinkers to help build/grow your body.

So after you subsume all the people in the Chuai station (all happy workers of Tagruato drinking their free Slusho!) you head for the largest source of more potential hosts... NYC.

Slusho! must already be in NYC or else how did that guy at the party have a t-shirt ???

 		i am more inclined to think that the DSI make you attractive to a predator. The monster is coming to NYC to feed on human because their scent is modified by the DSI. But any guess is good at this point.

 		What about this:
So this monster eats this deep sea ingredient and Tagruato is taking it from the monster so it's heavily attracted to it, and then there's all this Slusho at the party, deep sea ingredient inside of the Slusho. This monster FINALLY finds a fix, however it's in NYC (rob's party maybe, lots of slusho in one place at one time because maybe he got that job with Tagruato and he works for slusho now so he has a lot). I dunno it's a theory.

maybe the monster just wanders around his "favorite spots" for feeding and NYC is close to the last spot he visited. He picks the scent of the DSI from the human (waste waters i don't know...) and head right to it.

That's speculation within IG parameters.

Although to, potentially, further your case...where does he get his lazy
paws on the Slusho! he slams in his blog...

 		Slusho at the party.
I'm beginning to think that there may indeed be alot of Slusho at the party. In fact, it may be the only Slusho in New York City at this point. If Rob is working marketing for them in the US it is possible that they would have sent him a ton of Slusho drink and merchandise in advance in order to help him with the marketing campaign. When the monster wakes up at Chau station, the closest Slusho would be at Rob's party for sure.

but it's understandable, it has something to do with Tagruato,
Rob is in marketing, they're looking for marketing people, he's interning or something
Tagruato owns Slusho!
Tagruato builds deep sea drillers
Drillers get a little to close (i'm sure all those guys are dead)
Monster awaken, hey that's a familiar smell, i'm gonna go get that!

 		Slusho!'s been around NYC for months...
But where the hells it been hiding!?
It's just odd to me that his blog is the only place a conclusive inference
can be drawn that Slusho! is definitely available within the borders of the
good ol' US of A since June 2 of this year...one way or another. Very Happy

There's all sorts of random speculation as to where Hawk gets it within
various uF threads, but honestly...

There's really very little evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, to
give any sway or insight into a theory as to where Hawk truly gets his Slusho!
supply as of yet...

I'm really hoping one of the next bits we get will take a stab at making
this mystery a lil' clearer for us all. Confused
