And I found a list of participants in the Shinzen walk in Fresno with Angel Manoukian as one of the names. I don't think THAT one will help us, however
I've been searching "praga, reloj astronomico, plaza vieja, etc. with no luck. Anyone speak Czech? If you can give me some phrases in Czech, I'll czech if they're a match on youtube.
HA, Ha, ha, h.... okay, this search is getting pretty frustrating. Bear with me.

CAN ANYONE GET A HOLD OF THIS MATIT GUY? He never responded to my message on his site, I can try emailing him again. It would really help if he would open dialogue with us so we could learn more about his grandpa. What sorts of paranormal things did he investigate? did he have a specialty? was he working on something when he died?
These things might lead us to the video. Lets bombard the guy with emails!
Not sure that this is the best approach - your dead grandpa is talking to you from the radio and then some bunch of randoms start spamming your inbox? I know he's asked for help (and if you ask for help in this way you can pretty much expect that), but I like softly softly. Plus future interactions with him might be coloured by his experience of us so far.

I guess we shouldn't be rude, but several of us have tried contacting this guy...you think if you need help with something, you would check/respond to your email! I don't see how we can get much further without his help!
unless any of you computer wizards have a way of searching for the image of the frame, or anything else.
Don't know what to do.

Mattias (or Matt, or Matit, or whatever) wrote me back this morning. I sent him stuff before the Prague connection was figured out. Correspondance below.
from me

Dear Matt (or do you prefer Matias?)
I haven't managed to conclusively pin down the location, but here's what I've found so far. Windows is running using a Spanish Operating System (Inicio instead of "Start" on the start menu) and the text describing the video in the YouTube description page starts with Bo(n) -- not sure about the "n" there. The video is 36 seconds long, and it looks like there's a poster or something in the background that reads -ON.
Architecturally, the building pictured reminds me of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, looking from one wing to another across the famous "Rocky" steps. However, it's very possible I'm wrong on that as I can't find a picture of the windows (or from that angle, for that matter) to get a match. Judging from the crowds, I would expect the building is some form of museum though. Is the man in the image your grandfather, or someone else?
Good luck in your search, and keep us updated with your progress.
from Matt

Hi Michael. Thank you so much for your message. Windows is running in
Spanish because I live in Argentina. The Bo(n) thing is quite
interesting... you can take the last part of the poster on the
background to complete the name. "Bo", in the description, and "on" on
the wall. Toghether they make "Bon".
I'll check pictues of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. But, yes, the
building resembles some sort of place of cultural interest.
My grandfather did not appear in the snapshot.
Thanks again and best regards,
Matt

Here's what i got back:
Hi Jamie,
First of all sorry for this delayed answer. My ISP left me without
Internet connection for 2 days in a row. In the meantime I received
tons of messages (some of them are very interesting and insightful)
and I'm trying to answer each one of them as soon as possible.
Regarding your forum: I'm really amazed! You are doing an outstanding
job! Obviously cleverness is not something that lacks anyone at your
site. Thanks so much for your hard work.
I'll try to answer your email fast and right away (and then, hopefuly
tonight, I'll post in the weblog a compilation of hints that I
received these past days). Here we go:
1. We can't find anything by searching for old town square, our lady
before tyn, st nicolas, astronomical clock, etc.
Well, my grandfather was an astronomy devotee. There might be
something to look for there. I don't know. He used to study the texts
from the "old school" astronomy, texts from back when Physics and
Mysticism weren't yet divided as we know them today.
2. Was your grandfather working on anything when he died?
He was always working in several "fronts" simultaneosly. He mentioned
something about Shlomo Molkho. But there maybe more. I'll have to
check in his papers and computer files.
3. Did he have a specific emphasis in his paranormal inerests?
He thought "Paranormal" must be taken as a subsidiary of "Mysticism"
studies (or Mysticism knowledge). So he tend to conduct his
investigations and examine things through a "spiritual" lens.
4. Do you think Manoukian knows, and if so how can we contact him?
I'll ask him.
Again, Jamie, thanks so much for your message and your time. We'll be
in touch.

This is Shlomo Molkho:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shlomo_Molkho
He claimed he was the jewish messiah (his prophecies didn't come true, by the way) and was burned at the stake in Rome.

Just found out there is a Jewish Museum in prague that houses a cloak or something owned by Molkho. Don't know if it is in old town square but maybe that is why Godstein was looking in Prague?

Thanks, jeweledjamie, I was looking for that.
That's odd then that he pretty much sent us down the wrong path with the "bon" thing. I kind of thought that was a hint :/ Now I'm clueless as to what to do.

Well, i'm trying to see if there is a correlation between The Jewish Museum of Prague and old town square, because Matt said his grandfather was researching Shlomo Molkho and that museum has artifacts of his. There is also the astronomical clock (though searching that didn't reveal anything) and I've found there is the Old New Synagogue and Jewish cemetery either in old town square (i'm sure the cemetery isn't ) or nearby.

Just a heads up that the blog is updated. Really just regurgitating what we've discussed here really, apart from the mention that the bald chap might be pushing something in the screengrab.
I'd treat this as a 'clue' except he still pushes the "bon" idea which we've disproved. Very awkward.

Yup! But we really pretty much exhausted the search :/ We're not getting any hints, nudges or clue so it's all a bit stagnant right now.
