Hmm I took the bait and looked at the credits on IMDB for "Elephant" taking into consideration that she stated she used her middle name, and the initial of her surname.

Trying to recall the first few pages of "House of Leaves" real quick, there are three or four claw marks that the alleged minotaur leaves in Zampano's apartment. There are three on the 1-18-08 poster. (I can't tell if that smaller looking one is a shadow or not) The claw marks and the impact they had on the wooden floor are described in a way that recalls the poster as well. Plus there's been "House of Leaves" references by the characters and potential spoilers like I said... very odd.

well it seems as if they found out about the password geting out from watching here. So they may have seen the minotaur thing and put tat on there to throw us off. just a random idea
