 		You know, there's a pretty good argument that at least some of these so-called hacks were not done "knowingly" or "intentionally", especially considering how ARGs work... only now has it become pretty clear that it WASN'T part of the game. So I'm *guessing* the required intent for a criminal act is missing and hopefully the people involved won't be punished for being curious in a game that ENCOURAGES them to do so.

Pardon me? I started this thread since, at the time, I believed this to be an in-game response to an out-of-game occurance. Even if it was from bad play, updates are updates. Back when I started this thread, in fact, the update was Jamie telling us NOT TO Censored around with the curtain.

 		if you guys are going to get your panties in a knot because of what awk and dib did then maybe we should just go ahead and leave JamieandTeddy's website alone too. Afterall it was someone messing with the password that even got us into that as well wasnt it? The difference is understanding where the line is drawn and thats when screwing with stuff comes to mind. What dib did was not wrong, he was simply protecting it so some other jerk wouldnt go in and screw with anything.

Yes, it as unintended (my point being that all of this snowballed from an unintended hack).

It doesn't or hasn't seemed malicious. Those with access seem responsible.

I posted them earlier today.

The only time the PMs have updated anything on the weekend to my knowledge was the recipe pic. All evidence today squarely says no PM involvement.

As for this being 'innocent mining for information', if that was the case no changes to any pages would have been made. I made this point discreetly to Awk after he declared his access to the PB. Smart hackers, especially benevolent ones, leave things as they are and just look. This also leaves doors open for later re-entry, so you can look again. Taking action is what ruins it for others and causes damage, and risks consequences for yourself.
Self-discipline is not the hallmark of humanity however, so as 'Him who is He' says "It's a madhouse!".
