Just curious....

I'm sure that at least some of you besides myself have noticed just how often the viral campaign in some form or other brings up references to food and drink. It's like the whole underlying theme of the story/project -- possibly because the DSI is a food additive that's been placed in far more than just Slusho...but who knows.

Anyway, thought I'd put together a hefty list of food/beverage references I've found so far:

*working titles of the movie: Cheese. Chocolate. Slusho. (Cloverfield?)
*"cornbread" on Jamie's new JLT video
*Jamie's cranberry juice in the first JLT video
*Hawk pouring a drink down Rob's throat in a 1-18-08 pic
*Japanese chef holding up some soumen-noodle casserole in the 1-18-08 pic
*the "Snickers war," where Hud and Hawk were engaged in a Myspace flame war over who ate Hud's french bread pizza and ice cream bar
*the entire Slusho.jp site
*Rob Hawkins' page:
--"7 empty beer bottles" blog
--Beth's note about eating with Rob: incl. ref. to "Hungry Helen"
--Beth's ordering a pizza for Curb Your Enthusiasm night
*Beth McIntyre's page:

Good food.
-- Lena says you can't make chicken nuggets in a microwave (yes, you can, Lena!)


And that's just a trifling bit of the food/beverage references. That's why my radar went off as soon as I heard the "cornbread" thingy on the new JLT video -- whenever there's any mention of food or drink, it's a pretty good sign that JJ means it as an important clue.

So feel free to add other instances, speculate, whatever -- just remember to be on the lookout for any food/bev references in future clues: they'll probably point you on the right path as far as figuring out what's going on.

 		seems to me that this films turning out to be a commercial movie. Loads of references to food.

.... food aside. I'm quite anxious for someone to discover the next clue installment so we can stop searching in depth about useless facts Confused
