It's Dale. I hope everything is going well for you. I have a lot of things to
tell you about, once again, because it seems like everything is happening all at once. At long last I think the pieces of this crazy puzzle are finally
starting to fall into place. The problem is I still don't know or understand
what the completed picture is supposed to be, which makes it hard to find and put into the proper place those last few pieces.
I'm glad that the "stone" from Don Marzano has found its way into safe hands. Please be very careful with it and who you tell about it.
It's hard to know where to begin with so much news to share but I guess I'll start with something I know a lot of people were very worried about - Tracie Schmidt. Like I mentioned in a previous message, I knew Don Marzano was holding her because the messages I received with the video clips were pretty clear about bringing the Wish to him, although Don didn't actually sign his name or anything. I wish he were that stupid. I was able, however, to use a couple of "insiders" with the Marzano clan to help pinpoint exactly where she was being held and the schedules of the people holding and watching her. She was in a Marzano owned warehouse in Hackensack, not all that far from the Empty Threats restaurant. And so, last night, with the help of my two insiders, Wes and I went and got Tracie out. The people on the inside were watching key Marzano family members for us and keeping an eye out for any signs of alarm
while Wes and I went to the warehouse. The keys that we got from the one insider gave us access to the warehouse itself and because of that we were able to surprise and overpower the one guard they had there. We didn't hurt the guy, just made sure he would sleep nice and long and have a hard time freeing himself once he did. Still though, Don Marzano is sure to discover what happened soon enough so listen for some Italian cursing coming from central New Jersey sometime today.Tracie was OK inside the small room they had her locked in although she was hungry, dirty, and on the verge of exhaustion. She seemed confused to and appeared to have a hard time remembering me and what had happened, but I'm hoping it's just from the ordeal and she'll return to normal soon. Wes took her
to a temporary safe location to rest before we figure out our next steps and what she wants to do. I'm tempted to ask Phyllis Willingham and that Iris woman to hide her and take care of her for a few days but am afraid that might be too obvious a location for her. But if what Sam has told me about Phyllis' new security arrangements are correct, it could be the most secure place in Aglaura. Obviously Tracie's testimony about that Saturday when JD and Sal were killed and what has happened since could be instrumental in clearing me of any suspicion in the murders and be a big step in taking the whole Marzano family down but we need to proceed carefully. There is still so much more at risk here.Speaking of Phyllis, Sam has told me that she and Iris found Sarah's mask in a storage room of the Library, the same one in which that old trunk was originally found. Since the disc had already been located and its message de-
crypted, that only leaves the wand for us to get our hands on. I'm still not
positive what will happen then but Sarah seemed insistent that we first needed to get a hold of all three items before doing anything else.
Michelle, Dr. Kendra, has been really helping get to the bottom of my memory problems and forgotten things from my life. We have made progress in both the areas of my past as well as what happened recently with Sarah, the numbered ones, etc. Thanks to her, I now remember that the people from my memories that I have always thought of as my parents weren't my real Mother and Father. It seems I was either given up for adoption or orphaned as a very small child. We've uncovered multiple instances from my forgotten memory that indicate this
and I now have a memory of a face that I am certain is my real Mother, even though I don't have a name or anything else to attach to it. Michelle's also been helping me recall the time period of my college days, based on that segment from our first hypnosis sessions in which I saw but couldn't identify an old college professor. I am now certain that the person from my memory was indeed Professor Whiting, who has recently been in contact with me and many of the people helping me. I still don't remember all the details but I can now clearly recall spending time with the Professor and being enthralled with his knowledge and philosophies. Most of these fragmented memories are positive, leaving me with feelings of the Professor as being fatherly or like a mentor. But then something changed. That part I haven't been able to uncover yet, however, except for a few pieces in which the Professor is now a frightening and demanding figure. We've also been working on helping me recall exactly what happened out there along the Hiking Trails a few weeks ago and in the subsequent few days in which I was missing. Michelle seems a little frustrated with this part and keeps complaining that my memories of this part seem very jumbled, confusing, and almost incoherent. She says that, under hypnosis, I appear to be interpreting everything that happened in terms of archetypes and symbols, instead of people and events and she's having a very difficult time making heads or tails out of all of it. The only portion that is a little clearer than the rest is the "vision" I had of Sarah standing over me. I still can't read the page she is holding (it appears to be in Latin or something) but I have been able to remember part of what she is saying. She is repeating what we have been told about finding the three items and that, once they are found and "the way is opened", the unclaimed stones will find their way to deserving people. There is
more but I haven't been able to remember it all yet.Sam is holding down the fort in Aglaura, relaying items and messages for Wes and I. I'm making arrangements for him to pick up some records for me at
Greatwater General too. He filled me in on the discovery of the possible "STG" website and has gone ahead and tried to contact them to see if one of their teams possibly found and carried off Sarah's wand. I don't think he's gotten a response yet but I didn't talk to him yesterday or today yet except for a brief message on his machine to let him know last night's "adventure" came off cleanly. I'm hoping that where ever the wand turns up that we have someone close enough to retrieve it for us fairly quickly.The same is true for whatever is going to follow once we have the last item, the wand, in our hands. I'm hoping that this team of friends we've assembled helps us react to and deal with anything that follows, regardless of where or what it is.
Finally, I've been spending a lot of time re-designing and re-implementing the TuringPrinciple program from Peter Fishwycke's Answer Project site. I've managed to get "her" moved on to one of my servers for more stability and security and have just recently completed a human face interface for her. I'll try and get that posted and a link to you as soon as possible. One great benefit of working with the TuringPrinciple program is that I have been using it to research things on the Internet and correlate what it finds. I think it has helped me uncover some things that just might help us make sense of everything that has happened. But I am out of time for now. I have so much to do.I will try and stay in touch and please, let me know of anything you've learned or discovered that seems important.
