i think i understand what drone is saying.. but, unfortunately, I don't think I can offer much insight into any solution..

the most common of the plates are 96 well... and they have a simple 12 rows X 8 column dot matrix appearance.. presumably if there were numbers somewhere that correlated to which wells were successful.. they could be some sort of spatial/picture pattern within the entirety of the plate..

i, however, am probably not as familiar with what these numbers would be (1, 18, 08, 6, 7, photo timestamps?) and probably am not graphically inclined enough to see it even if it were there..

pretty much anything you could draw in a small area of an etch a sketch would be possible.. but i think this is probably unlikely

the only thing that I will give you.. is that often these plates are used for ELISA (as I mentioned before, this is how tests for disease titers are done).. and oftentimes here.. the wells all contain clear liquid and then as a result of the assay.. those that give positive results (i.e. you have an antibody to this molecule) turn a color (often pink) and I'm sure scientists have noticed some nifty patterns before when looking at which wells turned pink vs clear..

ok, it sounds stupid.
But, I can't find any explanation for everything being divisible by six...
other than the whole 666 means something evil or whatever.
But, I don't believe this will be that kind of movie so...
