on the sixth scene to film from the top it says alternate ending (probably not like a huge alternate ending, but different from what they are planning on at least) but as you said, i thought it was a hoax too but it's been kept in the back of my mind as a 'maybe'

Why are we assuming there has to be 7 alternate endings. In my mind, it would be far more likely that there would be two or possibly three endings. Not all the characters from the Slusho7 would get a chance, we might only have the option of effecting a single choice from 2 or 3 (Say Rob, Jamie and JJ) of the S7, not all seven. We pick which one to "warn" and they splice in that particular ending.

The effect might even be limited to the fate of that character, and not the ending of the movie itself (as in 3/4 of the way through, Rob "remembers" an e-mail he got from some internet "whistleblower" about possible effects of DSI and does A instead of B, thereby saving some lives but not effecting the rampaging monster per se).

Or better yet, consider the ARG lets us somehow warn all the Slusho7 of impending trouble if we solve it and doesn't warn them if we fail to crack the ARG in time. That gives us only 2 endings, the "forwarned is for-armed" ending and the "ignorance is deadly" ending.

If you agree to the hypothesis that the ARG lets us effect the movie in some way (and I am not sure that I do), there are many ways that this could happen that are within the scope of the movie-making industry.

i have never really looked through the call sheet until a few moments ago.

there are some interesting things listed on it including the names of three characters, Hud, Beth, and Rob.

If this truely is end of the movie, doesn't the call sheet suggest that Rob Hud and Beth are the only survivers out of the slusho 7?
