 		Movie plot:As a result of an Arctic nuclear test, a fictional carnivorous dinosaur known as the Rhedosaurus thaws out of the ice and starts making its way down the east coast of North America. It arrives in New York where it manages to destroy most of Coney Island before finally being killed.

It has been speculated that J.J. Abrams upcoming film with the unofficial title of "cloverfield" is a re-envisioned version of the beast but not a remake. Shocked

 		Think its a Giant "Creature from the black lagoon" thats a american monster and also lives in water..lol Do not believe he will make it look like any lizard form...too godzilish.

 		Technically it's an African monster, it's something totally original and new anyway, it's nothing from a 1950s movie or an old legend, it's completely new, don't try to look at past things cause it's not there its new, can i say new more?

Maybe slusho had a effect on Jamie and she turned into some big wigged out woman. Sheis pissed cus teddy is gone,slusho is effecting her mentally and physically and is attacking NYC(Attack of 50ft woman).

Thats why she isnt in Trailer and why IMDB does not have her listed, They would have had to list monster and that would give it away.

 		What has you convinced it'll be new so much?I'd like to know also cause the thought of it being something like a reinvented monster is depressing...

At this point JJ has us all lookin here and there and all the slusho,Tagruato coud play the smallest part ever in all of it.

Sleight of Hand type stuff.

Actually Jabrams NEVER said new...everybody else says that he did.
Read the transcript or watch the JJ @ Comic Con on youtube.

Don't get me wrong...I'm hopin' for the new monster too Wink

That transcript leaves the playing field wide open...

The monster just has to be ...

* Insane
* Intense
* And the script has to be written in America

He never says NEW at all and doesn't neccessarily infer to the origin of the monster at all.

He could easily adapt a script to an exsisting concept of a Hungarian
monster as long as it's insane, intense and integrated into an American
icon. Crying or Very sad

He'll have his fun ressurecting pre-exsistent ideas and integrating his twist on them with Star Trek.

 		Thanks alot Doc....now i'm slumped sadly even more...


Someone plz help convince me it's not gonna stink now.Cause all's i keep thinkin is that all the viral stuff will have less and less to do with the actual movie and i'm still thinkin it'll be a reinvented monster....

The polar bear you speak of was the one on Lost correct?If so it wasn't really mutated was it...just adapted to jungle climate rather then arctic...and i can't remember if that was a quality of the island or a Dharma experiment.

Man i hope it doesn't stink as bad as I think it might...I like J.J's stuff and hope the highest for this movie.

 		I can be pretty sure this crowd (with the exception of the cynics) will love this movie. You, the doc and me, we'll be alright.

and also, adapted/mutated, it adapted by mutating, hows that?
