[POLL][OOG] Would you buy a Cloverfield video game?
Would you?

A reply in another thread reminded me of something I was thinking about. How cool would a Cloverfield game be? I have no idea what it would consist of (running around getting while trying to film?), but I'd get it!

Sorry! submit ur answers again!!

Well, actually I don't like merchandise of movies. But in the case of Cloverfield I fear I'll buy just everything officially connected with that movie... Marketing team of Cloverfield did their job fine... Smile

Heheh, well as I'm the guy who thought one was coming anyway, sure, I'd buy one.

I was thinking it would be set in the future, with New York already destroyed and possibly over-run with horrible beasties. You'd be sent in to clear infestations or whatever.

Not sure, If it was good I would!
If it involved filming things as part of the gameplay, it could be great.

i think uF is solely responsible for giving paramount and abrams way too many good ideas... not only in this thread but in countless others...

Btw, for more realistic (handcam movie instead of Hollywood blockbuster), weren't it cool to make a text based interactive fiction instead of high-tec high-end 3d shooter?..

IT'S NO FUN IF YOU DON'T SHOOT THINGS!

Fact.

If it were something more like Deus Ex, that would be nice.

Aw, youth... how adorable... Ain't they cute?

BTW: I have written text adventures in the past, as well as add-ons for FPS games.

The only way I can see this game working is if you are the monster. Twisted Evil

I think it should be in FPS mode, but you don't have a gun, but how you view everything is through the camera, and there would be sections in the game for clearing out the little monsters in post-apocalyptic NY after the monster destroys it. Oh, and there might be multiplayer.

I've played many a text adventure, don't mistake hyperbole for whatever you meant by 'youth'.
