It's a real seal.

I reckon that be a Sea Lion.

It's a seal.

Sea Lions have EARS! But no sea lions or seals are this big!

has anyone here seen The Host?
because everyone is posting pictures that look almost exactly like the monster of that movie...

P.S.- if you havnt seen The Host you need to! Great movie!!!
also i think cloverfield will be very similar to this movie
P.S.S- you you might not find this movie at blockbuster because it is Korean

I haven't seen The Host, but I've heard there might be similarities.
It might not be a coincidence that this film was codenamed 'The Parasite'...

Sounds like the creature from the Host is a mutated tadpole, maybe this is something similar?
Maybe those claw things on its back are actually external gills, like on this salamander larvae:

My arts, QUICK AND DIRTY:

My monitor is notoriously light and this is a dark image, so if I need to take it up a few levels let me know and I will tweak it.

Yes, it's dark - on my PC monitor.
If you are using a Mac, they tend to use a very bright color profile. You can set OS X to use a PC (Windows) color profile so it'll show things in the same luminosity as you'd see on a PC.

Thanks! And oddly enough, I'm working off of a PC -- it's just a light monitor that I am lame and don't tweak because I've gotten to where I like it that way.

Lightened the drawing a few shades here, though:

That is probably the closest I've seen to what I think it'll look like.
