Sirs,

I find your product interesting, but I am curious if you are planning on co-branding at any point with any other existing vendors. Agreements with other vendors may make it difficult to position your machines in some venues that may be in my market area. Do you yourselves require exclusivity in a given outlet?

I appreciate any information in these regards.

Thank you,

Very Happy
(Yes, I faked the full name and the company name. Some of you might get the joke)

Been lurking around here since I saw the trailer at the Transformers midnight release here in my town in Idaho.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank all of you who diligently sift through the crap I don't have patience for. You've kept this going for me even during the no-update times we've suffered through prior to pic #6 turning up on the official site.

I digress.

I tried the new phone # and I'm guessing that mayhap I've done something wrong...I get nothing but "doo-doo-deeeep we're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed etc. etc."

And yeah, I see cheese in that sneaky monkey's hand as well.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I myspace'd Jamie & Rob today but mentioned nothing even remotely related to the ARG(E), I'll keep you posted (in the proper thread) on any responses. Also emailed Slusho! upon finding the update, told 'em my name was Harvey Dent, owner/manager of Dent's Marketplace in my local town in Idaho. Will also post any response I get on here. As of now the both myspace messages are "Sent" status.

Thanks again for your constant efforts, gang. Glad to finally be posting here.

To the poster above - welcome to the forum!!

It seems pretty apparent that they want us to email them, what with 2 links and all. Here's what I sent, maybe they won't take me seriously but it amused me, anyways:

Quote:
Dear Sirs:

I am interested in purchasing a Slusho machine for my Kwik-ee Mart in
Springfield, USA but would like more details. When do you anticipate
being able to deliver the machine and have it installed? If it has not
been approved by the FDA, is it legal for you to offer it for sale in
the U.S.? Please let me know the answer to these questions, as well as
the price, as I am extremely interested in your product.

Regards,

Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Jr., Ph.D

I think both the distribution email links (which unmistakably invite us to email them) and this as yet non-functional Competition link are an indication that we are in for a more interactive experience. These don't seem to be critical to the storyline, but meant to offer our types something to chew on. I do think that it's possible that the way the Competition link shows the bubble "We'll find you soon!" suggests that they want to choose a winner and seek us out, perhaps rather than announce the winner outright. I'd love to have some Paramount suits show up at my door with even so little as a Slusho t-shirt. Speaking of that 'we'll find you' comment, someone mentioned that before in a thread but I don't remember actually seeing that line used before on the site.
Hmmm....

To call Slusho....

This is what exactly what you'd have to dial:

011 81 3 5403 6318

If that helps anyone. I want to call but my cell doesn't do international.

Weird... a minute ago I zoomed in on to the donkey as far as possible, and there was a button there to the right of the logo on his hat (the hand switched to a pointy finger) but it just linked to the email address like all the other links on the page. I refreshed the page to try again and it's gone now. Could this be a flash glitch?

I dialed the number above and got a bunch of Japanese that I couldn't follow (my japanese coming from reading the book Shogun) but it went on for a bit and definitely didn't just say "Please hang up and try again"!

It started with hello and welcome and then I was lost...

Yes, the reason why you're the first not to get an "error" recording is because you're probably the first to call the number using "011" which is the code used in the US to tell the phone network to dial out of the country.

Kudos to Jojo for pointing that out.

Maybe the PM's have noticed us questioning whether this is really an ARG and are subtly telling us "Yes, it is! Figure it out!"

Did anyone else leave a phone message?

Hmmm... so it's not FDA approved
