Well, that really bummed me out. This had the potential to be pretty awesome.

Well, like the PuppetMaster's name implies, we can only do what he/she wants us to.

Guess this is the end, but I HOPE that there is still more to come, because the way this game was set up was very interesting.

Also, I think the guys just ran out of ideas to tell you the truth. I could see that happening a lot with amateur ARGS

Just got out of class so I figured I would make a quick post.

Sorry if my previous post didn't bring about anything, but they were also just assumtions. Anyways, I think we are kind of tossing out #001 and #002. There were many clues linked between both videos which then resulted with #003 being posted. Now that we have #004 and the mini DV, lets tie those back to the beginning.

The "hints" zoomed in on in #002- how do these relate to anything, and what is there purpose in relation to everything. There are a lot of loose ends here, lets start tieing things together.

Actually no. The original audio would preserve fine, since the only thing that is removed is image frames, the audio could very well be the same overlapping the cut.

But that is not even strange, since it is a film.
I would have done exactly the same if I had to make cuts in the material, just added the audio post cuts or cut out frames while letting audio overbridge the gap. Keeps a more "natural" pace then.

And if it is "Somewhere over the rainbow" you mean, what does that have do with anything except it's the music that tunes in for the credits. Obviously yes that is added afterwards, yet again no mystery. Standard procedure.

Anybody else notice that the shot of him searching "Trinstod" in Google was only very recent, bringing up our threads as the first two results? Also interesting was how "global" they made this to us with the various clues and locations (Trin&Tobag, Sweden, Scotland, France) only to just finish it with this typical American girl, and the McDonald's jingle.

I'm convinced he emailed a girl in the states and just asked her to do that little bit without really involving her with it. It makes no mention of specifics, so he could email that little speech to her without her knowing what it was about. It could have been filmed ages ago.

I think "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is a clue that we're supposed to think isn't a clue. I think we're supposed to kind of throw it out because it's the goofy-ass punk version, but there may be something deeper there. Maybe it IS coming to America...Kansas, mayhaps?


I guess I'm clutching at straws here, but I can't let Trinstod go. At the moment, I'm taking this as something to throw the trolls and underage b&s off the trail and just leave it to the adults.

Do you normally have wooden floors in the bedrooms? Is'nt that a bit rare in America?

I'd guess that it is a linoleum floor. I would say the same about the floor in the appartement in video #001 as well. Looks fairly modern and renovated, so why not throw in a fresh linoleum floor. With that said, I think the two apartments are the same apartment, just different rooms and views.
