Which is going to absolutely rrrrrrock! Does anyone remember the old Ralph Bakshi, Rotoscoped animated films. That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the trailer for Beowulf. Should be a winner(And having already read it, i don't have to sit around and guess at what's going to be clued at, or pulled out of thin air at the last moment.) Sometimes it's nice to know what to expect, and then be pleasantly surprised.

Oh, and dalphx. I hate you. Very, very much.

Condtradict yourself much?

Not really, I meant let's all who got blinded by dalphx photo be a happy mob and lynch him. But in good spirits you know?, like lets give him a slusho, then trow him to the monster so he's happy as a whale while he gets eaten.

I'd rather run him over with a '68 Camaro sporting a 502 big block with a 305/315 cam, single plane aluminum intake, and of course a Holley 850 CFM dual feed double pumper 4 barrel.
Twisted Evil

As long as its a Camaro, lol (dreamin back to younger days when had cash in wallet, drove camaros, now wallet always empty and driving suv)

1-18-08 TV commercial?

was it just me, or did anyone else see a commercial that only said 1-18-08 during the BoSox/Indians game last night? I wasn't really watching and just barely caught the end of qucik commercial and it looked like it only had the date on the screen.

was there an actual commercial before it, or is this new trend for all advertisers until the customized commercials from Minority Report begin?

That promo on Fox is for TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES (FOX)

Quote:
· [series premiere] · 1/14/08 at 8:00 PM
· [regularly airs] · mondays from 8:00 PM-9:00 PM EST (from FOX's press release) Executive producers Josh Friedman ("War of the Worlds"), David Nutter ("Supernatural," "Smallville") and C-2 Pictures ("Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines") bring to television an intense new drama based on the celebrated heroine of the "Terminator" movies: Sarah Connor. At the end of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Sarah vanquished the liquid metal Terminator sent from the future to kill her teenage son, John. Sarah and John now find themselves alone in a very dangerous, complicated world. Fugitives from the law, they are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future, and the present, could attack at any moment. THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES reveals what happens when SARAH (Lena Headey, "The Brothers Grimm," "300") stops running and goes on the offensive against an ever-evolving technological enemy bent on destroying her life, and perhaps the world. Her son, 15-year-old JOHN CONNOR (Thomas Dekker, "Heroes"), knows that he may be the future savior of mankind, but is not yet ready to take on the mantle of leadership that he's told is his destiny. John finds himself inextricably drawn to CAMERON (Summer Glau, "Serenity," "The Unit"), an enigmatic and otherworldly student at his high school, who soon proves to be much more than his confidante she assumes the role of Sarah and John's fearless protector. On their trail are not only threats from the future, but an intelligent and tough FBI agent, JAMES ELLISON (Richard T. Jones, "Judging Amy"), who soon becomes a powerful ally. Directed by David Nutter and produced by Warner Bros. Television and C-2 Pictures, THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES represents an exciting reinvention of the "Terminator" franchise, in which the strong and intrepid Sarah discovers that protecting her son and stopping the rise of the machines is more difficult than she had ever imagined.

I got the Region 1 DVD of Transformers today. Rip off for $22, considering it didn't say whether or not it was one or two discs on the outside or if there were any special features on it. In fact, when I put it in, it went to the menu without any trailers. I thought that was a little fishy.

Then, after the movie ended, there was a screen with trailers for Iron Man, Transformers itself, and some Transformers/win a car contest. No Cloverfield stuff.

However, there was one interesting thing. When I took the slip case off, the back of the jewel case had a sticker on it that said "Rewind this tape". This was very odd considering that (1) I had bought it and (2) it was a DVD. I tried "rewinding" on the menu and during the movie, but came up with nothing. Did anybody else find this sticker?

I wonder if there is an Easter Egg on the DVD that is hiding some cloverfield stuff...at least the original trailer.

I don't have the DVD so I can't see for myself, but I would think that it is at lease plausible.
