Why are you surprised? I think for the people who have been playing this game long enough, we can get a certain feel for the characters. The CM is taking the law into his own hands, I disagree with that. Period. As for Eric.. it appears, from what we have speculated/been clued to, is that he pulled the Fatal Attraction - "If I cant have you no one will". TDC so far has been the only one putting forth a genuine effort to help..or at least he is attempting to. He didnt kill anyone (as far as we know). He isnt making anyone eat cat food and piss in a litter box (as far as we know). Therefore, in my own opinion, TDC is the logical side to choose if you are aiming for the morally just. TDC appears to have a conscience. He could have remained silent, yet he wouldnt be able to sleep at night (unless he is piss drunk).

Why are you so surprised again?

Although, you must admit...in certain instances, you've been tempted to do the same.

That's why I kind of...sympathize with CM. When you're so full of rage at being wronged (if this is, indeed, the case) I understand how he could be so cruel.

Doesn't mean what he's doing right, by any means, but I can kind of understand, having wanted (but not doing) to do the same.

wanting to, and actually follow through with, is the difference between being normal and being a psychopath. I want to run a guy off the road that cuts me off in traffic, but does that mean im gonna take the side of someone who actually DOES it? No.. Im gonna be like that guys frikken crazy and needs serious help. Im not saying I dont relate to his anger, but where does it stop? Whats the cut-off point for getting back at people that wronged you in some way?

The way I see it, regardless of what Eric may or may not have done.. he deserves the respect of a human being. If we agree with the CM and string him up by his entrails, whats next? why dont we just line up everyone in the Jails and shoot em, valentines day massacre style. Hell,, why not do away with the police altogether and go back to the days where it was an eye for an eye.. you kill me you get killed.. oh wait, I know why we dont do that anymore....its because we're CIVILIZED. We're not mindless beasts that live by the law of the land.

Trust me, Im the first to say that if the court system fails, and guilty men go free, then you have to do what you have to do. But I say we at least TRY the civilized route first. If that doesnt work, and theres solid proof that Eric committed homicide, then have at em.. until then, TDC seems to be the only sane person I can relate with.

 		I've taken the CM's side with the "my" point of view that what he's doing is justified. I told him I believe that the court systems punishments don't fit the crimes committed. Which is true. I don't think it's right that someone could horribly rape, torture, and then painfully kill someone, and when caught they are allowed free room and board with cable tv until they are put down with no pain.

All I know is that if I were a sex offender (WHICH I AM NOT), Jail is the LAST place id want to be.. its Ironic that Jailhouse justice is a lot worse than any state bid. They come out of prison with pig tails and a new cutesy little nickname like sally or peggy sue.. but I see your point wilke.. everyone is entitled to their own opinion, by no means am i trying to impose my ideas on anyone.. different sides make this game all the more interesting.

 		I've heard of a /lot/ worse stuff that happens to sex offenders in jail. In comparison, being made some guy's bitch seems like a walk in the park.

Either way, I've been following this game since fairly early on, but not extremely closely... the CM's codes and riddles got so complicated for me, I didn't really feel like I was having any useful ideas haha.

So we have to take sides now? I know someone got an email from TDC a while back, but that's all I saw from my thread trawling - this one's been pretty hard to follow! What else have we heard from him?
