Image / audio corruption?
How do I make corrupt files or hide messages in them?

there should be software for corrupting images (like in i love bees) and sound files and for hiding messages in them digitally for players to find. is there? please link Smile

I would recommend Audacity (audacity.sf.net) for the "corruption". Play around with filters.

For image corruption (stegmentation) Camouflage is good (and hosted here!) although it's no longer supported. It's also hackable thanks to an exploit using the hex data, although doing it's such a pain in the ass it doesn't really matter much.

There's also jphide, but I haven't tried that one yet.

The image corruption in ilovebees was simply accomplished using a hex editor to directly insert the text in the code, iirc.
